Cutie Honey was a 70s magical girl. I believe she was the first magical girl to actually use her powers and transformations for actual combat compared to the even more dated magical girls from the 60s that were simply cute witches. 80s magical girls after her were more so idols, but when sailor moon hit in the 90s it brought back the fighting/transformation trope Cutie Honey used and made it more popular. Sorry if this was a long post😅

Oh man, you really have reacted to this video fast! Just as I expected! Also, the whole problem with Sasuke not being around Sakura is also an example of dissonance between cultural values in regards to a woman's devotion to a man. Kishimoto even stated in an interview that if Sakura forget about Sasuke or stop pursuing him, she would be seen as a "bad woman". But unfortunately, it's clearly more nuanced than that for readers, especially since Sasuke has been trying to kill her multiple times and was out of control. I mean, during Sasuke's journey to avenging his clan, many Japanese fans sympathize with him due to the whole "filial piety" virtue in Asian cultures. But in Sasuke's case, it's definitely getting too much into the selfish territory, as it's usually argued that one cannot confuse self-interest with piety, never mind the fact that he's also been treating his former friends and mentor like dirt and defected from Konoha. But to be fair to Sasuke, he was being corrupted by Orochimaru's Curse Seal and gotten further mind raped by Itachi, along with being manipulated by everyone regarding the Uchiha Clan Massacre. By the way, Sailor Moon did come out before Cardcaptor Sakura, the latter series became more prolific due to CLAMP.

I have never understood why people are so pansy when it comes to how Sasuke treated Naruto and Sakura. In my opinion, it’s their faults they couldn’t get a clue. The dude clearly cut his ties with the village when he left. In a world where killing each other is commonplace, it’s free game after that. Sasuke even tried to leave on a good note, saying thank you and goodbye to Sakura and even telling Naruto off to avoid a fight at the final valley. The first time for Naruto is understandable because it was his mission to bring Sasuke back but everything beyond that was - in his sensei’s own words - the mentality of a fool. You can argue that Sasuke leaving the village was a dickhead move; I personally don’t think so because I’m pretty sure anyone with a source of trauma would want to get rid of it as soon as possible (especially in a world without therapy apparently). But everything beyond that was fair to be honest. What do you expect an enemy shinobi, flowers and chocolate?

52:01 Luffy can in times of crisis and when he focuses, see a few seconds into the future due to his observation haki(one piece ability to use your willpower to sense the intent of the things around you). This is just me being a diehard anime fan who's seen both shows but even though genjutsu alters reality for the user, physical scars will remain. Even though Luffy was in a genjutsu Madara would have cut him down before it happened and his body reacted to that specifically. The shock of getting cut in the future would break him out of it at the last second letting him survive.
