This movie was the thing I watched in a movie theater after not having gone for years, not just because of the pandemic. However, I was disappointed with it. It was the fourth entry in the series, and I felt that Taika Waititi was given too much freedom and made decisions that ultimately ruined the movie. While Waititi directed and co-wrote the movie, the other writer had previously worked on teenage shows/movies. In contrast, Thor: Ragnarok had four people working on the screenplay. In my opinion, "yes men" are a net negative when it comes to producing any form of media, be it a movie or music.

Sam Jackson’s acting especially his facial expressions were severely lacking unfortunately in this project probably due to Covid, that mixed with weird final production cuts and edits. The project was allegedly supposed to be a movie and it shows as the episode run times had a drastic drop with the first two episodes being nearly an hour to 45 minutes long and the rest becoming shorter and shorter. Remember how I said the show had a decent start? Well it finished horribly the finale felt rushed af. Lastly, the stakes, with such a great story line you realize that this should have had bigger stakes as having the vial of all the avengers powers would have been a damn perfect conflict between shield/sword/nick fury and the avengers, as the avengers would had felt betrayed. The scrolls should had infiltrated the avengers with maybe half of the team being scrolls making it hard for the audience to trust the avengers. On the comics end I am pretty sure secret invasion had a lot of fans so that’s why marvel was quick to coin and use that name due to their dying relevance to reel people in. Only to disappoint in the end.
