Hi! I just came across your article about Bent Press and then watched these videos. Thank you so much for creating these! I love BP, but I guess not so many people can do it correct, so I haven't really had an opportunity to practice this movement. And then you are here with this awesome tutorial. I love all the progression drills from video 1 to 3, and I'm going to incorporate them into my workout routine. Thanks a lot again!

Thanks Portress, appreciate the feedback. I know there's a lot there, but pick a few progressions to work on.

Hey Ryan. So, the place to start is the progression in video 1 with the 1st drill. Once good mobility and movement is achieved, go to the next progression. After moving through all progressions, there may be a couple that work best for you, that's were you use those few as your drills prior to the lift. There's a lot of progressions, so just pick a few to work on to improve the lift technique. Hope that helps.

Great tutorial! Clear instructions with reasonable progressions. This really helped my understanding of the lift. Can’t wait to go practice this!

Awesome....what I like about these (3) videos and the TGU videos, you take the time to go step by step. Also you stress to train on the steps first then...in time do the whole exercise. Thanks...and oh yes I will start w/a light weight!

Awesome tutorial Scott! Loved your use of the progressions to de-construct the movements into bite-size chunks. It helped me to learn the subtleties associated with this exercise: something I was not getting from looking at pictures in a book. Really well done. Thanks!

Wow! I've recently heard people talking about this exercise. I'm going to start at video 1 and work on it until I can execute it skillfully! Scott, your videos are excellent. I like your teaching as well as your demonstration. There is lot of Bad information and sloppy presentation on YT by people who really can't teach. Your videos are truly worth watching. Thank you.

Awesome videos, Scott. Thank you very much. I have a question. How should you be working these progressions? Do you recommend to do all of them at once, until you finally try a full rep?

Hi Scott i am now on my second time in Sock and Awe protocol( this time with double 16kg kettlebells - i was using two 12kg kettlebell two months before). I really like this exercise and i want to practice this. How can i manipulate my training sessions of sock and awe to accomplish this drill?

How does one decide on where to begin in the progression? How long, and how often to train each progression? And, when and which progression to move onto next?

Very good tutorials..I'm self taught I have a nack for looking and emulating quite easily problem is when I would like to pass the skill on reverse engineering it is tedious. Great work bruh.
