A tip to remove the focus from all players and put the training intensity on automatic, if you select 1 player and press ctrl + A it will select all at once, just change only 1 player and it will instantly change all the others

The decimals in attribute points is absolutely spot on. A few FMs ago you could actually see those decimal places but they abstracted it to create more ambiguity. Rightly so imo. Don't want to get too much into numbers with attributes.

Tip: If you use the tickbox's on the left in the player list under individual training, highlight the top player, hold shift, highlight the bottom player so the full team is highlighted, you can then change the focus/intensity on one single player and it will do it for everyone. Saves a lot of time.

Which tactic did you used?
@grohl22062 жыл бұрын
@@gonigbratal3963 I made a flat 442 'low block, fluid counter attack'. Pretty standard roles: LB and RB as wing backs on support with inverted wingers on attack ahead of them. AF and DLF up front, then one Defend centre mid duty and one Support. Worked well with 'lesser' teams too, got me to Premier League with Burton Albion.
@gonigbratal39632 жыл бұрын
@@grohl2206 other years i used to like 442 , 424, but this year i am obsessed with 433, so what i sonetimes do is i go to klop and i see how he plays, its 433 gegen passing standar, with higher line and etc, so i copied everything and changed some roles and the fluidity and the football is very nice on the eye, but with underdog teams you dont score so much. I am still trying to perfect it

I could be doing it the completely wrong way, but I typically just use the same training I use for a one game week. The no game weeks usually happen around international games, so whilst international management doesn't have training schedules in the game, I imagine they are still doing some "training". So I keep the players still at my club carrying on as normal and I may schedule an easy friendly and as I may only have a few players still at the club, it gives young players a chance to play with some 1st team players also.

In previous fm games years ago, you use to be able to change stats from 1-20 to 1-100 when setting up game. So I think the raising of stats by fractions you talk about is correct but maybe by 0.2 each notch up or down. As 20 is 1/5th of 100. Just a thought

Some French youtuber make researchs and they found out that the difference between doing your own trainings schedules and leaving it to your assistant is very thin. It's like 3 or 5% more effective if you do it yourself. Which is not that much. But in my case i like to do it myself ☺️

Great vid. Never knew that about the +1’s vs the arrows on the progress bar! Good to know and makes sense. One thing I would question though is why you wouldn’t select someone playing wingback in your tactic to train the wingback role, and take your assistants advice? Having listened to enough monthly meetings, I don’t expect these guys to actually know what they’re doing 😅 But seriously, could you expand on why you would leave it training full back when you have a wingback in your tactic? What’s the logic?
@RDFTactics2 жыл бұрын
I think they choose what’s best for the player or what matches the players attributes. Each player has a playing style and it stops me from giving a creative midfielder not a creative duty to train - if that makes sense. I don’t think it’s VERY important but I haven’t felt any pros to train them in their playing position

A practice match the session before match day? Will that not increase the likelyhood of injury as there is no recovery session between then and match day?
@davidlean1060 Жыл бұрын
I have to say, after adopting the schedual and making my own tweeks (like removing a practice game the day before a game), my team started to ratch up the wins. 15 in a row, almost straight away. I started the training in November and I think I only lost one game between then and the end of the season. I broke a handful of club records on the way to a domestic treble with Benfica too. Great advice RDF, many thanks! Congrats also for taking over from Iain Mac on the FM podcast! No better man as we say here!

What did you change?
@davidlean1060 Жыл бұрын
@@tenderballz5561 I took out the practice match the day before a game. The day before a match, I have match tactics in the 1st training slot, a rest in the 2nd and then the match preview. Sometimes midweek, I'll swap out chance creation for something specific, like attacking set pieces, and then have my practice match. I play it by ear depending on what I think my team will need in up coming games. The key is to pay attention to how much the training effects happiness and team cohesion, which is the biggest point ot take out of RDF's vid.
