I've never had an RC boat the could run like that one, that 3S battery is really something. And I love the way it self-rights itself so quickly. This boat could be a lot of fun. Great review Ryan, and thanks for sharing.

This thing hauls Ryan! It’s got a lot of features,but I think my favorite feature is the Battery compartment! That is really cool and very nifty! It’s cool to see that this one is not utilizing that safety feature of the boat having to be placed in water before it can work. I like that! Great coverage of this boat Ryan . Yeah it is really nice and the battery compartment is a great idea though it is very difficult to get the battery lid on. The battery has to be installed in one specific way. The lack of the prop safety did surprise me since the boat is brushless. Thanks for stopping by Robby!

I really think you would love a rc busy but you would have to go to the reservoir to drive one? I have used my drones many times to get awesome aerial shots of my boats but I've not done that in a few years. You could get some awesome video of a boat with one of your good drones.

Just got the Alpharev 608 boat a couple of weeks ago. Exactly the same boat and price, Just different color and name. If you can't find another battery for that boat, Alpharev sells them on Amazon for around 25 dollars under boat accessories.

You can use any 2s lipo that fits in the boat

it has reverse and no there was no water inside. I don't know if it was hot and I can't run it anytime soon with it being winter.

@@RDsRCReviews the other thing I noticed was that it'll turn very sharply to the left using the remote, but more of a gradual turn when I crank it right.

@@BB-pg5kl that can happen with these boats but it may work better if you can get it to go full speed. Did you make sure the speed trim or dual rate throttle is set to max? I can remember if this boat has that though. It would be very strange for a motor to work not not run at full speed. I bet your throttle is set to minimum.

@@RDsRCReviews if you're talking about the little throttle dial on the remote then yes it is turned all the way to the right. For the trim I just set it to where the boat is going straight unless there is input to make it turn left or right. I just didn't know if I was missing something else on the actual boat.

@@BB-pg5kl wow that's strange. I'm not sure what could cause it to run so slow. Do you have another battery to try just to make sure it isn't a bad battery?? That is the first thing I would try before I returned it. It's very strange for a motor and esc to work but most be really slow. Also make sure the prop or assembly is all tightly secured and isn't slipping.

On mine the remote stopped pairing after the second time out So deerc sent me a new one But I then removed all batteries and placed them back in the remote and boat Now it works!
