Imo it probably didn't matter whether or not Rdu chained magnetics, he was still going to win the game. He got handed the opportunity to play end of turn magnetics comp with the golden drakkari. Given how far ahead he was at the time and how many beatboxers he was offered, he could have switched into that as well. It could be awkward but I think you cut the two end of turn cards to make the switch because they are geometric scaling compared to exponential scaling on chaining magnetics.

I agree, he didn't have to do it, chat is actually a bit obsessed with the chaining strat. It outscales RDU's strat on the long (looong) run but it requires more time and board space, and with Golden Drakkari, which it usually doesn't happen, I think it's better to spread the magnetics and buff the whole board.

The game was won on a huge beatboxer that soloed the whole enemy team with taunt. Either of the deflectos or the labourer could've given space to the chain strategy. But he'd never lose here. Not unless the opponent was also chaining magnetics. And the divine shield battle was such a pain the opponent played a first foe reaper to take it out, but he probably should've played a Leroy or a direct AOE instead to have better chances

@@NanoBruvyou magnetize a magnetic onto another magnetic. Once you golden the one that has lots of magnetics on it, you use the golden one and magnetize it onto yet another magnetic and keep that chain going. The reason we do that is because once you magnetize a golden magnetic that has lots of magnetics on it onto another minion, your beatboxers get the whole magnetic chain onto them. So if I have 5 accordotrons on one Annoyotron and I manage to golden that Annoyotron, I can magnetize it onto another minion and the whole 5 accordotrons get magnetized to my beatboxers again, effectively doubling stats and also cash. Its an absurd way of scaling, as you’re having infinite gold and absurd amounts of stats, but it costs a lot of time and requires you to have beatboxers and lots of magnetic generation early on

@@NanoBruv Beatboxer doubles the value of any magnetic you play (because it gets a copy to itself) So let's say you have a lullabot and beatboxer. Any annoy-o-tron you play on lulla will also go on beatboxer. Then, if you can manage to get that fat lullabot back into your hand, you can attach it to something else, and it will also be attached to beatboxer with all its buffs. If you attach it to a normal mech, you got 2 from that big lulla. But if you attach to a magnetic, then that magnetic now is big and with many effects, and if you bounce it, you can also attach it to another magnetic. The hard part is that to bounce, you normally have to triple, or play jandice. In duos that's much easier. So the way is Play a magnetic raw on the board Play Beatboxer Buff your magnetic by attaching other magnetics to it Triple your buffed magnetic to get it back in hand Play a non-golden magnetic raw on the board Attach your triple to the newly played magnetic Buff it more if you can Triple it Repeat

didnt it got cleaved perfectly both deflectos could die in an instant cleave and lose directly and then one of the guys deflecto died so early. beetles saved him that fight

Can you explain why you prefered to buff the drone instead of deflectos. It looks like more stats on deflectos is stronger no ?

I think it’s because he didn’t want taunt or wind fury on the deflectos , as then there is a much higher likelihood of them dying without getting as much value

Actually wouldn’t it be better to use beetles earlier? Against the ghost, it might not be strong enough to kill his minions, but the 3/3 beetles will definitely die and trigger his hero power as well. Leads to more scaling and more stats against the alive players

Chaining the magnetics would be 10x better than the deflector since he had a guaranteed source of triples… but maybe he would have got to big and wouldn’t be able to get minions anymore

That’s not how magnetics work. They are added back to the minion pool as soon as they are attached.

@@lorenzocorrea7178they go back in the pool now It was a balance change they made when mechs were popular but people kept running out of magnetics (I think around when beatboxer was introduced but I could be a bit off)

17:52 Im triggered when he have second replicating menace in hand and dont stack magnetics! Its multipling stats and buffing from drone. Its ok to use magnetic only on cleave Foe reaper. But all oher need to be stacked all time.

Basically if you just attach magnetics normally you will only get them doubled via beatboxer. But if you attach them on another magnetic and triple it to get it back to your hand, you essentially get a large body you can attach to any minion which is also gonna get doubled with beatboxer. So you get double the stats
