There really wasn’t anything good in the shop and he was too focused on building stats on his board, getting a random golden minion and a random 6 drop wouldn’t have really improved his board and he would have to cut at least a 50/50 do do this anyway

He could have forced golden primalfin and fed JJ two of them. With brann + kalecgos JJ had murloc from his tour group and would have scaled super hard as king as he manages to finish the turn with apm. IMO this would be greater scaling for the team than anything he could do with the gold he had. Then just accept the support role and build towards scam
