Thank you for sharing. Know you’re not alone. I too suffer depression and my daughter and her household of 8 (yep, a hubby, 5 kids, and the mom-in-law) all contracted Covid, including the 5mth old baby no one has gotten to meet because well... he’s a Covid baby, born right at the height of the first wave. It can be really hard to feel light of spirit and motivated to create when things feel so out of our control. I try to remind myself that creating is a safe space away from all the crap, even if it’s just making squiggly lines on the back of used paper. So bring it on 2021. Let’s tango! 💃🏼😁 We’re in this together. Peace, love and good health to all 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Brother, I can relate. I also battle depression, and this past year has kicked that into overdrive. I didn't let it stop me from painting, though. As of New Years Day, I have around 400 finished works - all done in 2020..! Works on canvas, paper, masonite, and even cigar boxes..! Haven't sold anything yet, but I have five paintings hanging in a neighbor's beauty saloon/art gallery. Maybe 2021 will be "The Year That Tom's Art Sells." Glad you are hanging in, and hanging on. I encourage you, in Jesus' name..!

Stacy, I’m sorry that happened. I’ve been there and there are days you don’t even want to face. I’d challenge you to find at least one thing to do each day to feel accomplished and you can feel good about yourself. Each day has its challenges but I believe in you.

I don’t even know if I can get unemployment because in November I was a victim of that unemployment fraud where someone used my info ... I called unemployment yesterday and they haven’t called me back and I’m scared ...
