I am not follower of the deobandi school but I was very impressed with the way Sh Yasir defended the deobandi school with evidences and did not resort to any sectarian counterattack but instead preached unity and deep understanding between the various muslim schools and movements before criticism is done. Also a good lesson from this is to refrain from making opinion based on info from just one side even if its a trusted source. I personally like Sh. Amir from Mad Mamluks but this video highlights how his understanding likely has gaps. May Allah guide all the du'aat.

I have studied, there are two things which are essential for every religious scholars. 1/ To learn Ilme mohammadi 2/ to achieve Noore mohammadi. first is a quràn wa hadees second is to get from sufees of the ummah. both of them had been taken by Sahaba from our prophet pbuh. This spritual series is being transferred from generation to generation eg.from sahaba to tabaeen and tabaa taabaeen and so on untill now. it's a reality which cannot be refuted.

And all famous scholars were suffi e.g., Hasan Basri, Sufyan Sauri, Malik Bin Dinar, Imam Ghazali, Maulana Roomi, Khwaja Moinuddin chishti, Shah Waliullah Delhi, moulana qasim nanoutvi etc etc all were Sufi. The first one I just told, was a student of hazraat Ali ra, the fourth caliph, as well as he was one of the mureed of h.Ali ra. فا عتبروا يا اولي الابصار.

The main real thing want to say about Deobandiat what I have considered, is the purity of Moulana Qasim Nanoutvi which is deeply rooted in every scholar of the education center according to their capabilities. This video is more of a dodging bullets than an actual refutation of the accusations made against Ashraf Ali Thanwi, Gangohi and Nanotvi and other scholars of deoband. The only valid refutation was how can you know the ulamah of deoband are practicing black behind closed doors if you’re aware of it. You still have not to provide a valid argument for when Ashraf Ali taught the separation between 2 people. You also have not provided the foundation upon which Ashraf Ali made the statement about controlling jinns after specific dhikr for 40 days. When it came to wahdatul wujood, you claimed someone needs to be an expert practitioner of ilm up kalam. That was a very strange act on your end, you should know that ilmul kalam comes from Abu Mansoor Al maturidi, not the sahaba nor the tabiyen nor the tabiet tabiyen. Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal was extremely against Ibn Kullab and his students were extremely opposed to the practitioners of ilmul kalam. Ilmul kalam is what they have been speaking against. Abu Hanifa Ra never practiced Ilmul Kalam. Neither did Imam Malik nor Imam Shafi. All you did was refute their ability to pronounce some pakistani or urdu names, which is irrelevant to the refutation and semantics. In fact, if your arabic was tested, the language in which the quran was revealed and the highest level of Islamic literature is based on, you will stutter and make mistakes upon mistakes. I can say with almost certainty you can not hold a decent level of conversation in arabic. That’s my opinion and I might be wrong. The host himself was biased out of respect and has done a poor job in presenting the claims/questions to the deobandi man. I will not call him or anyone involved in the practice of ilmul kalam a scholar or mufti or sheikh. Please do not try to bring up An Nawawi or Ibn Hajar, they are not from the Ashaiira and it has been proven many times. Refute claims that was posed instead of laughing things off. Or let me know so I can conduct the questionnaire myself and ask the way these questions need to be asked. This was so biased.
