If anyone's having the performance task failed error, this is what helped me: I had a dark mode turned on in the system settings and had to switch to the light mode. With that the calibration magically finally succeeded. (Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro)

Guys, I had this issue in 2024, may, 23 on my Xiaomi 13 lite after a screen replacement. I was getting the "performance chart error" at the black flat step, many, many times. I've tried so many ways to fix it and nothing happened. What did I? The flash step I put a piece of white paper over the sensor At the black flat step, I put one layer of my black shirt and with my finger over it and then it worked. I've also let the screen brightness in a low level like 15% and now my fingerprint are working fine. Hope it helps

thanks bro i thought just fake video but it works perfectly, at first it said failed, but then i actuallt forgot to full brightness and now its done. for the others cant do it just simply follow the instruction from my comment. - you need to full brightness - put white paper before you press start - after successfull press next and quickly put your finger at the fingerprint sensor - after calibration done now reboot your phone. thats all and now you can use as normal, thank you.

I have replaced my Mi9t panel. Repaired after 1 year gap. 1st I could see the fingerprint symbol on lock screen that was obviously not working. But than again he opened the phone for sim ejector problem. After that I could not see the thumb print on lock screen.. After resetting my phone. Nor I can't see the fingerprint option on password and security section.. Tried ur way to calibrate. It says Spi test timeout

I keep getting 0x3EC Error Unknown after the black test, does anyone know how to get past that one? Also, every time I fail, when I try again, I get a 1001 Out of Memory error and need to reboot my phone before trying again. I've now reboot my phone at least 5-6 times. 🤦‍♂

IF PERFORMANCE TASK FAILED: Step 1: max out brightness Step 2: disable dark mode and eye comfort mode Step 3: USE WHITE PAPER and don't cover it, just press start and hold the paper down at the edges Step 4: use a BLACK CLOTH with your finger behind it (black t-shirt will work) THIS FIXES PERFORMANCE TASK ERROR
