Understanding this certainly gave me a better grasp on the concept. I'm using Algoritm in reason Studios it's very cool. Subbed for more cheers!

Is there a way to calculate the amplitude of the sidebands generated according to the amplitude of the Modulator? (For example, the Modulator being at half of the amplitude of the Carrier)

So for accurately reproducing saw and square waves… you normally use a feedback operator. Is there a reason we didn’t do that?

This is great, but the results are being affected by the subtractive frequencies below the fundamental I think.

It get’s inharmonic probably because the octave is divided by the equal temperament. There are different tuning concepts, but the most common in the western modern music is the equal temperament with 12 half steps. Let’s say an A = 440 Hz. The perfect fifth would be 7 half steps above with E = 660 Hz. In fact the note is about 659.25. So it’s not that perfect. If you add up more and more upper harmonics in the higher region you get sounds with more dissonant character. You may ask yourself why it’s not possible to tune the instruments perfectly. It actually is, but only for a limited couple of notes (pitches) with perfect ratios like 3/2 etc. To make all of the notes of instruments sound great in relation to each other, which have characteristic overtones like piano or guitar, you need to make a compromise -> equal temperament. I suggest you watch some of those videos on KZbin, they explain a lot about harmonic relations of instruments and sound in general:
It's just a 100hz sine wave modulated by another 100hz sine wave. What the equal temperament has to do with this? How does it even relate? He wasn't even playing notes to the equal temperament to take place.

I want Suite but damn it's just a bunch of buttons. Least Logic looks like hardware. The operator in this looks like it was all jammed into one small space. Like how much can we fit into one small interface. Idk they're so bland and boring.
