WOW!! I effing love this woman! She is the most amazing person to walk this earth. She is just so inspirational and HOW AMAZING IS THAT VOICE. There is not one time I have listened to her sing that I haven't got chills down my back. I LOVE HERRR! :)

lol so I was told that they wouldn't show the anthem being sung. so i was sitting down facing away from the TV and I look at my mom and her eyes are wide and she is pointing at the TV "Thats Idna Menzel! I swear! Look!" And sure enough it was! I was like "how did you recognize her?!" and she goes "well you are such a big fan!" lol I'm so proud of my mom for that... I love Idina! great job!

Aw man! I was taking a nap when this came on! A few hours after I woke up my mom told me Idina sang the national anthem @ the game. I think I read somewhere that she was going to do this but I totally forgot until my mom told me. I'm always sleep, away, or can't make it when the good stuff happens!!

My mum came with me to see her in Chess and (as did my Dad) and she said that Idina totally blew Kerry off the stage and has such a powerful, rich, and most of all - Original voice... I was so shocked!!! They even waited until after 12 at stage door with me! GOVE IT UP FOR PARENTS WITH TASTE!

Idina is one of a kind. I love this lady! I agree that it is annoying when people scream and cheer DURING the song (sepecially the National Anthem). It is so rude! Let the woman sing, ya know? She sings her heart out right through it though! Too bad we can't hear her...:(

I saw this! I was watching tv with my sister, but my dad came in and changed the channel to watch teh game and all of a sudden there's Idina. I wasn't so mad about him changin teh channel after that lol

She sounds like most good singers doing the anthem. Only one or two singers actual recreated and blasted the song into orbit. Whitney is the first. When elphie is played by others women of color...even that role will evolve and grow!

i was told this performance wasn't going to be televised sooo of course i missed it. boo!! unfortunately though i didn't seem to miss much because the sound quality was terrible. not idina's fault :-)

That is EXACTLY what I would have done! Like wen I went 2 see Enchanted i waited at the end for her name to come up then stood up and clapped, the people I was with were rather embarassed haha.
