Re-imagining - LOONA CTD/Loossemble Debut (Hyunjin, Vivi, Yeojin, Go Won, Hyeju)

i saw someone say they shouldn't debut as a group of 5 cuz they lack and that was... Very wrong BBC really made their image so bad that so many people think they are talentless when they are talented i personally love gowon's voice sm and i want to hear her sing more same goes for everyone in CTDM honestly.. I hope they make music as "lussemble" i might like it more than oec who knows

They've always been held back by that awful company but at the end of the day they still all have solos and have proven their capabilities on and off stage time and time again in spite of BBC 😤 hearing them live and in person last year just solidified to me that they have so much more to show us than BBC ever let them, I'm glad they're all together ❤️

GoWon really deserves a main rapper position because in the pre debut Era (her solo & yyxy) she had the best rap along with JinSoul. After that she barely got lines. But in General most of her lines weren't singing lines. Same goes for ViVi & YeoJin. They had small one line rap parts in a lot of bsides. About Vocals, I think the best is HyunJin but HyeJu & YeoJin can also sing quite well and do high notes so they will be lead vocals and HyunJin main vocal. We know GoWon and ViVi have softer voices and were really mistreated but we know they can sing thanks to their solos so they will have vocalist positions. About Dancing, we know HyeJu had amazing dance skills in their dance covers and also in Queendom. So she is the main dancer and HyunJin and GoWon are lead dancers even in loona OT12. ❤ ViVi & YeoJin are great too but there isn't a sub dancer position. 😂 About Visuals, I would give it to ViVi alone but because of Loona Ot12 HyunJin is also a Visual. So 2 visuals. Center would be Olivia Hye because of her popularity and Dance skills. And Leader would be HyunJin because of her experience.

I personally would switch vivi and olivia's positions! like vivi as the lead vocalist and olivia as the lead rapper but the current positions are good too. we'll see rapper vivi and vocalist olivia

@@rubyjaneluvbot That's actually a great idea but as we all know ViVi has shown interest in rapping (in Chinese & Korean) but Olivia Hye got a lot of rap parts but I guess she prefers to sing because of her covers. And I guess she was just pushed as a rapper because of BBC.

HyunJin as a main vocal like YES. That girl did not sing Decalcomanie to be ignored! I probably would've put ViVi more on a vocal position and YeoJin on main rapper, though. Frankly I NEED Lussemble (that name is going to get Lesserafim stans bent outta shape real quick) to have an elegant concept, like full One&Only/Butterfly. HyunJin and ViVi might have started out as 1/3 members, but by GOD that fancy mansion yyxy vibe had some longevity to it. "We're just orbits who have gotten used to only one release a year" oh my god yes i need more content in general, fuck BBC. Also I love how you got so into this vision that you even drew a lightstick.

I was considering making Yeojin more prominent as a rapper but after hearing how much her voice has developed and how well she can belt (especially in Pose, and I'm still convinced that adlib in Hula Hoop was hers) it just didn't seem right to not acknowledge it. Meanwhile Vivi's been underappreciated in every position but she's been showing how capable she is since LOONA studio and I just want her to get one position that's catered to her skillset. I tried shifting the musical direction more mature because it honestly just suits them and within that the yyxy aesthetic was really strong to me, especially in the dark concepts, so I think we're kind of on the same page on that one! And yeah I got way too carried away with this one lmaooo

I love how you've captured the endless possibilities of Lussemble. I was wondering if they'd go sweet and innocent, girl-crushy, or horror/thriller--but then you just went why not all of them? And why the heck not? 😊 They've proven that they can pull off any concept. The one thing that the LOONA members showed while they were on Queendom was how good they are as storytellers--they can sell any concept with how good they convey a song and its story. I loved how in your mind, they release something for different seasons. That way, there's always something new and fresh to look forward to, and there's always something for different moods. What I didn't like was that they might take next year to release something! Although I agree with you that it might take time because the company is new, I have to fight my impatience on that 2024 release date. But then, when I saw how considerate CTD was for letting Vivi and HyunJin take a break, and I'm guessing also for Gowon, Yeojin, and Hyeju especially since they won the lawsuit last, I can understand why their project might take a bit long to come out. I was just wondering if you would recombine the sub-units? Who could also be a good combo? Yeojin and Vivi? Vivi and Gowon? Hyeju and Vivi? Girl, I know this video is almost an hour long, but I can see how you'd have to hold back because THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS! Also, your encyclopedic knowledge of K-Pop discography is amazing. P.S. I watched your video as soon as it came out, but my husband dragged me off to binge a new series, so sorry for the late comment. I just wanted you to know that I watched the entire thing, especially since I was one of the people who specifically asked for this. 😅

May 2024 was the absolute latest I would give for them to re-debut, very excited to see what they'll bring us with the debut showcase tour! On the sub-units, I have had a Vivi-Go Won-Yeojin sub-unit in my drafts for literal years at this point I need it to happen so bad. Also a Hyeju-Go Won unit needs to happen, Rosy was just too good. And the 1/3 members coming together for a unit release also needs to happen. I'm so touched that you came back after watching this monstrosity just to leave a comment 🥲🥲

I love the subtle Alice in Wonderland thing you have going on, so I think it would be so cute to expand on it. What if each member had an Alice in Wonderland character. Hyunjin - Cheshire Cat: I mean this is so obvious that I almost have to laugh. Yes she’s the cat member, but her playful and mischievous personality absolutely fits so well. Vivi - Alice: I mean, she’s so Alice, I almost made Gowon Alice because of that iconic blonde era and the doll visuals, but I think Vivi would so fit everything Alice so well. Yeojin - White Rabbit: I think a rabbit nervously running around, mad at anyone who gets in their way, worried about being late, fits everything Yeojin. Gowon - Hooka Smoking Caterpillar: Butterfly, obv. Plus, I think she kind of fits the aloof energy. Hyeju - Queen of Hearts: I’ll admit this might be the weakest connection, but I think Hyeju as a cold regal monarch who cruelly sentences anyone in her way to beheading would serve, as opposed to the regular like red in the face, crazed Queen of Hearts.

I started watching it and I really enjoy the first album song choices. Kind of shaking at how well Crystal would fit this unit’s vibe. Awaken is a good opening pre-title song too. I can imagine them doing a shortened performance of it on music shows or showcases it leading into the title. Tiki-taka is THE perfect title track. Exactly what they should be going for!! I also loved the poem you chose To open that album. Hyunjin REALLY needs to get a main vocal label. I’m loving the second album concept so far. It’s so dreamy and sounds like people would assume a night/star themed album would sound like, but it’s sun themed. You really chose songs I adore for this one, lmao. I just know I would be obsessing over the Sungazing album for years. Also the promo ideas like the cafe/member designed merch and the skincare and makeup collabs!! I’m seated!! We really need Yeojin for a colorful makeup brand I think… (I’m going to write multiple comments bc I keep getting interrupted watching and I don’t what my previous thoughts to get deleted.)

Honest question, other than Olivia Hye, why were they not included in the dance and vocal groups in queendom?

No way to tell really, they already submitted 2/3 of the group so perhaps they weren't allowed to send more and the members they did send are arguably more versatile and were treated like main/lead vocals and main/lead dancers by the company. We didn't really get a behind the scenes into their selection process to know why those members were selected and others were not. Maybe Hyunjin was originally in the vocal team and Go Won was originally in the dance team but outside forces were at play... They did try to make up for it by giving them more prominent parts in Butterfly and Pose but maybe they ultimately just decided to go with the members fans were expecting to maximize their winning chances?
