Ughhhh - my Snap camera filter isn't working and I've tried to upload from the Cache with the correct Dock ip and I get nothing but network error. Long story short, I can see my filter on the list, but it just loads infinitely and never loads the filter. Please help.

I want to make changes to the existing lenses. Is there any way to pack the modified ZIP to lens.lns format to replace the cache?

I will provide a .zip to .lns packer in the near future. The easiest way to modify an existing lens is to import them and edit the .zip file in your server import folder.

@@TrumpX Are you sure this method works? As you said at 5:14, the lenses that are already on the server are not uploaded. Or did I misunderstand something?

@@Latsyuha Yes, you need to delete the existing database records first. Each lens has 2 database records, one inside the "lenses" table and the other inside the "unlocks" table. You need to search for the lens ID and remove these entries if you wish to overwrite it with a new import. An alternative way is to manually place a zip archive inside the import folder instead of using the import website. After that you will have to edit the database entry inside your "unlocks" table and point the url to the zip archive 127.0.0.1/import/YOUR_ARCHIVE.zip Either way you should be able to modify all files inside the zip archive now.

Is it at all possible to upload a custom lense made from fiver or something of the sort onto snap camera? How so?

Officially publishing a lens with lens studio 4.36 to snapchat should work 100%. Lenses published with a higher lens studio version might not work out of the box.

Awsome work! Thank you! Its great and i made it work for me. I want to modify a .lns, using your web decompiler that turns it into a .zip i can access the files to mess with it a liittle bit. But, how do you compile back to a .lns file? Thank again for the amazing work

Turning it back to a *.lns file is possible but I will have to update the web extractor to do that. As of now I don't know any other tools to handle *.lns files

@@TrumpX Do you know how to modify a lens in the server? i´m having problems with the signature of the file i think. I want to modify a picture that it´s in the .zip.

@@jcheva Your thought is correct, modified lenses will not work out of the box with Snap Camera because of the file signature. You would have to crack and disable the signature check inside the Snap Camera client application. I am also working on that right now.
