Foggy days are prevalent in a small part of India/World for only a few months, which can be addressed better by using Aux lights. I agree with the channel, that RE should move to LEDs.

Personally,I agree with you. But if you watch Faisal Khan's vlogs, you'll understand that he'll buy a bike even if it doesn't have an engine..but if doesn't have LEDs, OMG HUGE DEAL BREAKER!!! I find that pretty stupid though. LEDs are bright and good when the roads are empty. If vehicles come from the opposite direction flashing lights, nothing is visible. Oh and as you said, foggy conditions. LEDs are hopeless

Thanks for the review, I own BS4 Interceptor and completed 14k+ in one year. Just wanted to highlight one point which I don't really agree, before lockdown I used to ride it daily to my office in modarate to heavy traffic, surprisingly I didn't feel any such heating issue till now, even few of my friends who own this bike also said the same.

What about the seat, is it really that bad as most reviews say? I did a test drive and since they only gave it for 2 kms I couldn't get to know the bike well. I was so excited and didn't care to think of the seat or ergonomics. I'm planning to buy one in like two months, so I'm gathering all pros and cons

@@brabbit2325 If you are doing city rides, office rides, etc then there is no worry but yes if you are doing long rides then it would be uncomfortable. The seats are not meant for those kinds of rides. You can anytime alter the seats.

My biggest issue with the interceptor is the weight 😂. If you have to park it in a tight space or if you have to pull it out of a small slope, you're finished.

The Weight is an issue yes but not a deal killer as most 650 cc bikes are around 200kgs anyway. The workaround for the slope issue is to never park the bike front on as the interceptor (or any cruiser for that matter) is front heavy. Park it in reverse and leave it in gear so the wheels don't spin and then use the vehicle's power to get it out of the slope when taking it out. The only solution for the tight space problem though is to use a scooty when going into crowded areas 😜😜

My interceptor looks great in garage. That's where it has spent most of its time in last 1 month. First I had to get battery replacement which too 12 days. Then engine malfunction. Hopefully next month is going to be better.

I don't know how you're considering heating of this 650 to be an issue, I have ridden the contemporaries of Interceptor and bikes from higher displacement platforms, and Interceptor stays comparatively cool. The Interceptor 650 is in ease at city speed and highway runs. Points taken with regard to the ambiguous suspension setup and the chores to the shins.

Good review, but you will find pros & cons with every vehicle, but you need to understand what price RE is giving its 650cc. If I am correct it would be around 3.5 lacs on road, depending on which state you buying. After interceptor or GT which another 650cc bike is there in a similar price point?. With the price, you need to adjust a few things

Doesn't heat that much, Led headlights can be put in for 3000/-. Suspension is bad agreed. Footpegs too are bad. That's why I chose the GT650.

Hello, you should mention your height too for the review. Taller people can then check if footpegs are an issue because I have not heard complaints on many international reviews. Perhaps tall riders will not face any issue?

leds, especially primary headlamp use arent helpful for night rides especially for indian road conditions. But yeah atleast indicators could been premium, respecting the pricing its no big deal. Baki sab theek hai cluster and all is ok and timeless.

Please don't do nitpicking ,the only flaws of the bike is it's seat and tube tyres ,there is no heat issue even in June month in bumper to bumper trafic, no vibrations, suspension are ok, speedometer is informative enough to ride the bike, no need of LED lights halogens are good enough .

But interceptor lene hi kyu hai design bahut old school hai GT is better coz First. design little modern little old feels sporty . Second ergonomics and foot pegs are back like sports bike due to low handle and back foot it goes faster than interceptor around 10 km more in top speed
