Thanks for the video, sir. Funny story time! I, too, copied your cook kit and love it. (Minor modifications: (1) I tried making a Foster's beer can cup. Failed twice. Replaced that with a tin can cup with a silicon wrist-band lip protector and holder. (2) I can never find level ground when I camp. So I also added wire mesh pot holder to help support the 'feest alcohol stove.) Tested it at home several times by boiling water. Here's the fun part -- took the cook kit out for the first time this past weekend. Brought a sandwich for a cold dinner. Set the (unused) cook kit & bag on a rock by the fire pit so it would be ready to cook breakfast and tea in the AM. Slept well in my new WB hammock (thanks for the recommendation, Shug!). Got up. MY. COOK. KIT. WAS. GONE!. I can only surmise that an animal absconded with it! I'm new to hammock camping, but I have backpacked for years. I've never had my cook kit touched. Lesson learned. FROM NOW ON, KIDS, HANG YOUR COOK KIT WITH YOUR FOOD BAG.
