I loved that show, ending made me cry, like a baby......

AMC, please consider releasing the interviews featured in these featurettes in their full length. There is a serious lack of long-form behind the scenes content available for the masterpiece that is Halt and Catch Fire.

I would advise the producers to stop using anachronistic language. Nobody said "killer app" in the 1980's. It's annoying to hear these being used. I've heard quite few of these being used. Writers beware!!!!!!!
@n.lwhitaker5728 жыл бұрын
Steve Jobs did in fact refer to programs as apps on occasion. killer as well.

Patterned wallpaper, ugly appliances, saturated carpets that probably recently replaced some bright shag, wood paneling, but what about the POPCORN CEILINGS?

No one in the 80s wore tailored shirts. These people have no clue.

80's what a great decade= What was that bloke talking bout that while the 80's was happening we thought it was awful.....What was awful old oil money + politics in 83? He also said [Toby Huss] we didn't like the clothes of 83 but what he is wearing in the interview some people wear now anyway I mean seriously some of them clothes in trailer were smart suits with shirt + ties -Also some of the fashion was still 70's and some fashion was coming in to its own in 83 Also I remember as a kid in 80's my cousin and his mates wearing logo t-shirts, Blue Levi jeans and Black Adidas trainers or Ben Sherman shirt with Jeans etc Some clothes were naff and some weren't I also like what Christopher Cantwell says in this about- There some stuff from the 80's that could be from today and would blend in and other stuff that wouldn't be good

"ONLY THIRTY YEARS AGO". TIMEPERCEPTION IS RELATIVE, OLDER PERSONS PERCEIVE TIME RELATIVELY SLOWLY, YOUNGER PERSONS PERCEIVE TIME RELATIVELY RAPIDLY; FOR THE PERSON IN THE VIDEO, THIRTY YEARS IS A RELATIVELY SHORT TIMESPAN, FOR SOMEONE YOUNGER, IN HIS TWENTIES OF AGE, LIKE MYSELF, THIRTY YEARS IS A RELATIVELY LONG TIMESPAN.
@Anth2308 жыл бұрын
ReiK0Z That's the way it normally works. If you only experienced 20 something years 30 will seem like forever. When you hit late 40's 30 years will seem like a short span. Best example I can use of this phenomenon is you take a long drive somewhere you have never been it feels like forever....on the way back it feels shorter because you experienced it and are used to it. Same with age. The more years you experience the quicker time also seems to go and not seem as far away. Sadly the thrill of living fades as you experience more time as well....but that's another story.....lol

das 1988 the second time I watch a movie I liked it feels shorter than the first time for me :)

I was a kid in the 80s. It seemed pretty cool to me. I noticed the wood paneling in the show. I got some in my old bedroom at my parent's house. When women knew their place and there was less street crime. Coincidence? :)
@ancientapparition16387 жыл бұрын
What do women have to do with reduced street crime? The increased crime came from all of the blue collar factory workers losing their jobs and turning to easy drug money and petty crimes to get by in life. The hood grows and moves.

I think the evolution of Cameron's hair was just way too unnatural for her character although she did look better with each passing season but it is not something her character would have chosen to do. The first season's hair was just horrible.
