- Re-Memory : At a gallery on a night with thunder, Yeongin is working late, alone, and witnesses a murder. Jihun is brought back from vacation and gets assigned to the case with Detective Seo. There’s no evidence other than a witness, Lee Yeongin. But she has face blindness. She’s the only witness but can’t recognize the murderer’s face. Jihun investigates her past and finds out she had been raped when she was 17 years old. And her face blindness started after that. Meanwhile, Detective Seo finds out the victim used to work at an amusement park and meets an old colleague Kong Jungho but gets nothing. Yeongin decides to draw what she begins to remember of the suspect’s face. But Kong Junho pays her a visit on the pretext that he’s a detective. Jihun tells her to trust him but she recalls something suspicious from her friend Minju. Yeongin becomes suspicious and nervous. She remembers the amusement park she saw in the picture and makes a visit and meets Jihun there. The more she wants to trust him, the more he looks like the suspect. So she runs away from him but is spotted by Kong Jungho. He thinks she’s after him and threatens to kill her.

I dont want to spoil the story, but the first time i saw detective kang, i recognize he is the killer. The killer's hair, cloth, posture it's just him. Anyway i still watched it tho, since i love this movie genre.

I tell you what, a characters condition in this movie can scare the pee out of you. My heart rate was raised. So creepy. I didn't even know it was a thing. How sad. I would be so sad and maybe even afraid having to live like this every day.

xSPOILER ALERTx Is self-defense not a thing in Korea? The girl can be acquitted of murder for self-defense since the guard assaulted her first. Overall, a good plot!

Murdering criminals to me it's not a crime...but true justice that was never served...in the end he saves her more than one way... including going to jail for her...he's strong...he will resist in jail...her...she's already been living in prison since the day she was raped... hopefully she will overcome her past n get stronger now n remain friends with officer n visit him in jail...that's the perfect ending to me...thx for sharing...hope this film helps many victims bout there

This is what I understand. Detective Jihun hides the scissors that Yeongin used to kill Yu Namsik coz he sees Yeongin going thru the same fate as his sister. He knows that he will have to face the law after killing Kong Junho (deliberately using scissors) to avenge his sister's death. Since Yeongin can't remember, Detective Jihun decides to pretend that he also killed Yu Namsik (as is his plan) so as to give Yeongin a chance to get on with life.

​@@kerrye2953yep that's how l saw it, sad really but not that confusing, also left wondering if, now that she remembers that she killed the first fella in self defence, would she go and confess to that, don't know about laws over there, but she may have got off with self defence, the cop may have gotten a lighter sentence, with just one killing but done while defending the victim.

Hamiel Viray No, the detective didn't killed the first attacker. She was, the lady was already killed her attacker before the detective comes. If you see the ending come to analyzed it. It was the lady killed her first attacker.

At first I was thinking the detective was the killer, then I suspected the girl when she was being investigated, then back to the detective 'coz the murder weapon was in his possession and got motive as well. . This drama is good. I just wish it didn't end that way. The girl should've atleast ask the detective why he took the blame (tho I have a guess why) or anything.

@@jasminekatipunan7303 because he knew the girl never had a life she enjoyed, it was mentioned that the girl suffered from face blindness and her co-workers would not want to be with her because she's putting everything in an awkward situation. He also mentioned "he got nothing to lose", so he sacrificed his life for the girl to move on in her life (but i guess how would the girl now live her life knowing that she was the one responsible for the murder of the first guard). So in short, he loves the girl.

@@israelgunay6061 I don't actually go for the love part. The detective's sister was murdered by those people (if I remember the story correctly) and he's getting revenge because of that. It's just that one of them thought the girl heard them and tried to attack, so the girl got involved when she got the attacker killed. It's pity on the detectives' part (but that's just my opinion). The detective saw his sister thru the girl and he's getting revenge anyway so he took the blame coz like you said there's nothing left for him when his sister died.

Kang jieun is detectives sister n she was raped by those raskals n comitted suicide when he was student....now he killed one n other girl killed one but he took the blame of two killed persons to save that girl

So if I understand this correctly, the two men who were murdered were the two who raped the detective's sister when he was young. Our very beautiful heroine (in my opinion) was an innocent party but after the Detective killed the last man on the roof, and he appeared to threaten our heroine, she fell and his policeman instincts rescued her. He then realized he had to turn himself in to the police.
