I preordered this back in July 2022 after watching some of your pin organization videos and I still haven't received any order updates from them and no responses after emailing Kraken Trade multiple times over the past few months ): I'm so glad you received yours and can organize your pins! I'm hoping I'll hear a response from them soon but it just sucks how long the wait is and not knowing if we'll even receive it from them since they don't respond!

I'm so sorry you're having a frustrating experience with your order! I think moving forward, when I film re: KrakenTrade I will definitely need to give the disclaimer that they take forever before my followers purchase anything.. I am sorry you have been waiting so long! They definitely are NOT scammers, but I can see why lots of people have given up on them due to their long turnaround times. Have you tried DMing them on Instagram? Sometimes I find they're quicker to respond to me there. And you can send them a screenshot of your order #. Again, I'm so sorry that you've been waiting so long! :(

I love it when you do these videos! It makes me want to reorganize all my pins. Curious to know when you ordered your new book? I love the Kraken Books but I can't stand how difficult it is to get them. Even when you preorder them they come months after the estimated arrival date. They also had a bit of a nasty dig at the pinfolio kids on their website a little while ago before they changed it. And it rubbed me the wrong way. I want to eventually move all of my pins from the pinfolios to Kraken books but they make it hard for me to justify the purchase.

Thanks for watching! These are all legit questions and I do feel familiar with your frustration. I ordered this book I think either end of March or early April. I found Kraken during the start of the pandemic so I am pretty much accustomed to their slow turnaround time... I mostly capitalized on when they did live IG sales for their "flawed" books, and I also followed a lot of other pin resellers on IG who sold an old book or two. And since it was pandemic, they weren't double busy with hosting their live trading events. I did'nt see the knock at the Pinfolio kids, which is sad to hear. I try to stay out of the drams and remember that pin trading is about joy.. but to hear that there was a knock towards another brand is disappointing. I would probably stay following them on WhatNot to see if they'll do any live sales on some of their B Grade / slighlty flawed books. I want to say 95% of my kraken books are secondhand or flawed and they all still work pretty great. Only 1 of them have completely broken but that's because I overfilled it... lol.

@@frantasticthings Oh I didn't realize they did Grade B sales on WhatNot. I'll have to keep an eye on that! Yeah like I said I love the books they just take FOREVER. Yeah I'm not super into the drama of it all. I like to stay in my lane. But they used to have a question on their FAQ about the difference between their books and pinfolios. I forget the exact wording they used but the answer was something along the lines of because pinfolios were made by children therefore the Kraken products are better because they're made by professionals. It just rubbed people the wrong way, myself included, because there's many differences between the products but you wanted to take a swing at the fact they were kids? They've taken it down since but people have long memories. Thank you for letting me know about the second hand and grade B sales! I definitely need to keep an eye out for that. I hear ya on overfilling it, my one book is about to bust open if have some much in it. 🤣
