Re-Powering a Lawn-Boy Commercial mower.

This video was done exclusively as a test of some new video editing software I bought, I've been having a lot of issues getting videos edited lately so this should hopefully speed up the process a bit.

Neat project! I always love your mower videos. Glad you were able to save that Lawn Boy. I’m a LB nut myself and I would have done the same if it was my mower as well. Don’t see too many commercial 4 cycle Lawn Boys around, and like you said they still command a decent buck used. That blade adapter was definitely for a MTD product, which is why it fit that cub engine as MTD has owned/made cub cadet since sometime in the early 80s.

defo MTD blade adaptor, we get them here from time to time. Usually take the quantum off the MTDs and throw the motor on a rover frame.

Nice to hear from you again! My industrial rough cut mulching mower is 40 years old, uses a 5hp Briggs engine, and still goes great. Cast aluminium body deck, so no rust! We need a VW update!

How many lawn boys do you have in your collection because I have just 2 lawn boys they both have the same model number S21ZSM and I have Honda lawnmower and a tour of super recycler too

I picked up a new old stock lawn boy yesterday. Perfect condition. Never had fuel. Its a 680540 model. 1992 I believe. Any idea of it's value or collectors who might be interested? Might be the only never ran 1992 out there

Those models aren't overly desirable from a collectors standpoint. But you should easily expect to get $500 on eBay. Possibly more to the right buyer.
