Utoonie is really slept on. They can compete at long and short range, and their knockback deals half the damage needed to kill Rieve on its own. Their area control is also really strong with the grenade and splash damage

Utooni is great. A lot of players don't know to switch weapons when the enemy gets up close. His little taser is so deadly in close combat.

I think Slingshot is super slept-on. With his speed and shield, when used right, make him almost unkillable. He's good for picking off attackers 1on1 and getting in and out. I have him maxed, he's fun to play. You should definitely give him a try!

Wish they'd buff him and give him either reduced reload speed or 1 extra shot from his main weapon, I find my self reloading for what feels like forever and if you miss 1 of your 2 shots it's punishing.

Honestly utooni is pretty good against them too. The splash is great for Skora because it makes it hard to just dodge everything with speed, and the grenade can stop them running away too

Justice for Slingshot! He should be in at least A tier or great category. high health and good damage outside of his default blasters. His mobility is great for capturing and stealing nodes. His ult helps in Trophy Chase to move about faster while eliminating hunters. overall more versatile in all game modes versus some of the other hunters that are currently ranked in great.

I personally think Reive deserves meta tier cuz her abilities allow her to mow down an enemy faster than anyone else. Land her combos and you can finish any non tank enemy incredibly fast. Plus she has good mobility for rushing enemies, reaching objectives first, or disengaging.

You are not wrong about J3DI. As a Kyber ranked player who has maxed out both him and Reive, I would actually say that he's better. There may be a skill gap, but I can say without a doubt that he is good against almost any matchup. In fact the only Hunter I actually have a problem killing when I'm using him is Skora due to the fact that he can't reflect her shots back at her and of course her speed ability helps her get away from any fight and heal up

Can confirm the zaina analysis. Playing squad brawl and there was literally only one death on our team (it was me) 😅. Our team managed to stay together and she was just spamming the bacta bombs. I still like skora over zaina but yeah. Really good in the right hands.

Beskar 1 player here. I would drop Aran, Ziana, and J3 to the right -1 level, as well as rank Utooni and Charr +1 higher. Also tracking the rank #1 guy (at least last time I checked) was a full time Slingshot, so he most likely should be a lot higher as well. Otherwise I agree. Great stuff Sammy.

Slingshot is my main and seeing him so low is wild to me. I play him because he's easy mode and it feels like it requires little skill to play him well. His mobility is slept on when you need to get around the map quickly, which is almost every game except death match. In death match, he's nearly unkillable if you just know when to bolt away. His rockets soften up half the hunters to near death when landed well. He's such a beefy tank with his shield and fast with his passive and dash that, I feel, it gives you a lot of control. Enough control for me to be relaxed and be highly accurate when shooting.

I feel like all of slingshot’s abilities work really well together to make him a good agile tank, but it having to stop completely to come out of the rolling mode to actually attack makes him a little clunky to play. He definitely has potential to be really good.

Did I take offence or get salty in people's comments when they rated him low? No 😂 if anything, I took it as a compliment that I was able to do well with someone that most people didn't rate. I definitely agree with the top and bottom of this. I would put Utooni higher, simply because I have a friend who mains them, and I watch him absolutely destroy with them. I see Utooni’s potential on the regular, and he can be really good. Nice list. Good video.

Hello, im currently number 26 in the world in star wars hunter. My ign is the same, so you can check the proof, but wanna break down this list a little. Partly due to free time and partly since your my favorite sw creator. S:Your first two skora and sentinel i agree with. But then zaina. I know she's strong, but with how strong skora is and her playstyle, i put her in mid a tier, not s. Reserving s for must picks and we always have sent or skora but we sub zaina. A:Your tank ranking this list is horrific. None of the tanks are outright bad, but grozz above charr and sling is ridiculous. Rieve here makes sense, jedi is underated, and though this pick definitely is ify, i like it. And finally, diago is terrible. Yes, he's fun, and we all like him staring at the game. But id rather a 10 and 2 jawa over a 16 and 0 diago. C:Again, adressing the tank picks as ouch. There is a reason that a third of the top 30 players are slingshot, charr flexes. Jawa is on par with rieve and starting to pass her up so he should be higher. Tal i can kinda say ok to as hes alright. And vex would be fine switched with sprocket. F:sprocket is not f, vex sure. But sprocket can be strong and in trophy case or double healer hes great. Especially with a good tank he has high dps and good support. Lmk anyone has any questions or wants me to explain deeper?

Going up against a Zaina with a Grozz is a almost unbeatable nightmare. Also I’ve been using Slingshot a lot and he can be VERY good. He is probably my second favorite hunter to use.

I like the ranking for the most part. I am a Kyber I player too and I agree with most of the list except a couple of things. The hunters are very dependent on the map and game style. Grozz for any game style in Vespaara Row is damn near unbeatable. So so tanky and his boulders can decimate crowds in dynamic control or trophy chase. By far the most overpowered hunter in Vespaara Row and Deathstar maps. Skora is legit the best. The only thing I disagree with is Slingshot. Slingshot is heavily, and I mean, heavily underrated and used a lot in Kyber I ranked matches. He is great at any type of matchup especially dynamic control and power control and racks up so many assists because of his crowd control attacks. Sprocket is beyond useless. I love the game but seriously, why does Sprocket exist? He is literally cannon fodder. I explicitly target him in Squad Brawl. I used to think that Rieve is great whenever I would match up against her but then I realised that she aint all that. Really easy to take out once you get some experience. I target her too whenever I see her.

My opinion on Sentinel that while he is very good, he is also very exploitable at times with the right matchup. I can't count the number of times I was able to counter Sentinel with J-3DI and even Skora (way less times than J-3DI). This shows that while the Meta, Sentinel does not guarantee an instant advantage.

completely agree, as a sentinal main I typically only lose to a diago who is far away or a really good reive in my ranked games, but rarely is a reive that good.

I actually really like Sprocket. Gotten first overall many times. He’s definitely best used with teammates and almost useless 1 on 1. Well, depending on who the other 1 is. Charr would be my last. He’s difficult to play with. Idk, maybe he’ll rise up my list when I play with him more.

I dont know which rank youre on.. but you will see more sprocket slingshot utooni on kyber. Higher kyber players generally knows how to build a team depending on mode and map, sentinel feels 'useless' as people will just kill his ult with ease. Utooni n slingshot easily kill both lightsaber hunters with 1 combo.

sentinal;s ult may be bad, but everything else makes up for it. I'm a kyber I sentinal main and I know his ultimate is the worst in the game, but his stun and knockback are incredible for control modes. I completely agree about seeing slingshot in nearly every game, and slingshot is d3efinately in the meta.

Zaina is obsolete on most teams because of Skora, the slingshot take was just awful he’s best in game at trophy and top 2 in power control and great in the other two modes, grozz is only good on vesparra row or in trophy and even then a max charr is just better lives longer, imara vex is awful, she just losses to literally everything especially diago and she doesn’t do nearly enough damage to be relevant, Jedi is trash if you think he’s good he’s not, he has 1 ability and it’s ok at best.

There are a few problems with this list. You clearly are not a high ranked player considering you have never played against a slingshot player. 2 out of the top 5 players use slingshot, not to mention how every single one of them has them in their top 3 most used. Slingshot is undoubtedly in the meta, and at least a tier. I play him once every 3 games, in Kyber I. Grozz may control the game, but any good Sentinal, which is in nearly every game, can easily kill Wookie. Zaina is very good, but there is no situation where she should be used over skorra. Because we only need one support unit, reive is by far a better substitute, as well as slingshot, because in all of the control game modes, slingshot, skorra, and reive have overowered abilities to help control the objective. I'd argue the objective meta squad is skorra, sentinal, reive, and slingshot.

One of the worst tier lists I have seen in a while, I am pretty sure a toddler could of a made a better tier list. Clearly has not touched the ranked game mode. There is more to the game than casual. Having Grazz even be near meta tier is the most outrageously bad take I have heard. Grazz is arguable worse than Jedi, Rieve, Utooni, Diago, and Charr. Although these takes are all bad. The most brain rotting take, is having Slingshot as the second worst character in the game. People should be making tier lists if they haven’t seen or used a character. Clearly most casual players will not have Slingshot. Any decent player has as least seen Slingshot, and realizes how good of character Slingshot is, he can control any game mode, especially trophy and dynamic. You clearly must be a Bronzium because you have not seen a Slingshot. Maybe to truly understand the game you should watch some high ranked game play to truly understand what it takes to make a good tier list.
