Vedas are actually not created by anyone, it is apaurusheya. It is as eternal as the supreme lord Shri Krsna. It came from the breath of the supreme lord. Vedas has been written by the supreme lord, veda vyasa, for the people in kali yuga. According to vishnu purana, vyasa has written 100000 verses in the vedas, but now only 20000 verses are available. The whole village of Gokul started calling him the black one ; *Kanha*. He was ridiculed and teased for being black, short and adopted too.
