Very glad to see your new channel, it's Outstanding ! Great and solid information presented in a way many can understand. I'm so tired of the fan boy channels that put out 3 garbage videos a week. Nothing but Radio Pimps. I'm looking forward to your series. I really thought about, but also didn't want to start a channel myself about real world radio comms. There is a huge need for this type of information. There are only a few channels on youtube that give out realistic, useful information. I can tell from you first two videos that yours is going to be one of the few. Looking forward to future videos.

How you have less than 2K subs is just criminal. Best to the point in depth content I've seen on this topic. Glad you are sharing your knowledge and wisdom.

Very well done. Small nit pic. Data modes and digital modes are unfortunately terms that are used interchangeably. Digital would be P25, D-Star, more code, etc. The wave form will be on our off Data modes would be , PSK31, THOR, AFSK, DTMF tones, Rattlegram. The wave form is still the same as analog phone. The combination of generated noise is decoded back to a text format.

I was trained by a retired 18 Echo in the civilian world. I asked so many questions back then. We had a role as emergency comms guys for the LDS church and the County Sheriff Office.

I have done just about all of these things, did comms in the Army, worked doing commercial communications building towers and communications sites for Cellular and Broadcast Radio and TV, Ham Radio Operator for almost 20 years now, Emergency and public Service Radio with ARES, and Search and Rescue. Now getting more into the POTA and SOTA portable HF operation. Your presentation of this series is very good.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Lots of "prepper" channels and a lot of good ham radio content but I didn't really see anyone doing this sort of thing. Stay tuned.
