Crystallll I've used the Mane Choice gel in wash and go routines. I paired it with black castor oil ( gel then castor oil). I also used it between shampoos, first spraying my hair with alkaline water, then applying gel.

💎Crystal💎 Your wash n go came out great!!😍😍 I tried this gel twice, so far, and I kept experiencing flakes 😩 (I actually did a little review on it) But I paired it with their Soft As Can Be 3-in-1 conditioner but I got the same results. It was recommended that I should've sealed the conditioner with an oil, then use the gel. So I'll try that again! 🤗

Your wash n go looks gorgeous. Crystal 💎. I bought this gel along with the easy on the curls line (shampoo & conditioner, 3 in 1 revitalizer, leave in and the deep condition). I believe it grew my hair a lot because the products are infused with biotin, vitamin A/E. Although the second time I used and it flaked so I used JBCO which stopped the flakes. My little curls have blossomed since using her products!

Crystalllllll!! Your hair looked great!! I have tried this gel. I paired it with the Mane Choice Doesn't get BUTTER than this. It felt weird at first when applying it, but when it dried it felt so soft and the definition was AMAZING!! However, after 5 days of a GREAT wash n go, I washed it out and my hair felt AWFUL!!!!!! I don't know what it was, but it took 3 days for my hair to feel normal again!!

Crystal! Notification Squad! Lydia I LOVE the mane choice! I have used that gel multiple times! Your hair always looks bomb gurl your curls are always on fleek just like right here! Me personally I hardly ever go in with gels alone unless its curly magic (Uncle funky's), curl maker (camille rose), or (Mielle organics) honey and ginger styling gel. When I use that gel I will pair it with the "3in1 leave in" by the mane choice or the "easy on the curls detangling conditioner" by the mane choice. They all are from the same line ( I believe it's their original line) my wash and go is BOMB! I have definition and volume with a medium gel cast! If you can try one of those combos! The 3in1 leave in I recommend because it has AMAZING SLIP and it originally made for the crystal orchid gel! (Also Naptural85 SWEARS by that 3in1 leave in!) Love you xoxo!

tried the Mane Choice biotin infused gel...I had to rinse it out the next day and start over.... my hair was really dried out....I used a leave in moisturizer under it ...and it didn't work for my hair....used the ORS Shea butter and Mango leave in conditioner and curl boosting jelly.... as usual it works perfectly....I love this stuff....will be taking back the biotin infused gel to target.

I'm with you.. I didn't like this gel for my wash and go... It shrunk my hair all the way to my scalp.. Which isn't bad but it didn't move... I liked it for my perm rods... I found it to be super drying! Not when it dried but when I was washing it out. It was as if the super thick moisturizing leave I paired underneath it wasn’t even there. Same thing with my 3 year old who has different curl pattern/thickness. I love the hold so I’m on the search for a good pairing.

I personally haven’t straightened my hair in over 5 years 😭 but I would say make sure your flat iron isn’t too hot and be sure to build up the strength and moisture of your hair before you straighten it by deep conditioning with a protein/strengthening deep condition or a moisturizing deep conditioner

Their serum in particular acts like a gel, and this is why that line includes a leave-in spray. If you decide to revisit that crystal gel, try using a leave-in cream. Crystal💎 I love this gel! It always gives great hold/definition. And I always pair it with a creamy leave-in or cream-based styler because it can be a little on the dryer side like you said. But girl have you tried the braid-out glaze from their tropical moringa line? It has SUPER hold to it and you def would not need to use a lot of it lol

Yeah I agree! And I LOVE the braid out glaze. It works a lot better Han the biotin gel in my opinion. I used it in my review of the endless moisture collection 😁

Crystal!!! 😁 Girl I finally tried this gel on my channel and it only lasted for 3 days for me too! So I paired it with another gel that didn't give me enough hold (Deva Curl Arc Angel Gel) and it ended up lasting for 6 days! I used an oil, leave-in, and cream too and it came out pretty bomb 😆 Yours turned out gorgeous btw, love! 💕
