Criminally underrated, underappreciated and misunderstood. England's finest player of a generation and for my money, the best Manchester United player of the 21st century thus far. At his peak he was as unstoppable as Messi and Ronaldo. I know what I saw and I saw the best player in the world at times watching him. It is crazy how much stick he gets. He is literally the most prolific goalscorer for United and England. He had it all - speed, strength, technique and character. Consistent for so many years! As told by himself - he adapted for the team and enjoyed being involved with everything. Goals were just a plus. Injuries did him too much (cliche but 🤷🏻). If not, he would have been in the same bracket as Cristiano and Messi. #Beast #Wazza ♥️

This is precisely why football is not just a game. You could absolutely bet your house on Wazza going into a war everytime he stepped onto the field. The only regret I have is how SAF to a certain extent got him to peter down a bit, he is best enjoyed raw and raring to go. Those choice words after the West Ham hattrick, that Wazza inspired comeback against Spurs, playing against Bayern on half a limb, those lung bursting runs. I don’t think I have ever seen a more selfless footballer. My childhood is well and truly over, and football doesn’t feel the same. What a video, and take a bow son!
