Man this is the Lara we've been missing for 8 years now with the reboot, sassy, confident, cold hearted, and a hero to people. I have no negative comment on the reboot they were great but man you can tell they went a little too far left with the reboot her personality in the games are a little emotional. I hope when they unify the timelines with the new games we will see that Lara Croft for now on

+Aidan Hodge-McNutt This happens, because of all the ppl who cry about that our rolemodels have tight figures, and strong personalities. Media started trying to satisfy the wish of those who hate seeing someone in better shape than their own, and todays role models say to us that being unhealthy is just fine, because we must accept ourselves the way we are. This is not a way to make ppl change their bad habits. Lara was a symbol for me since I was a child, and what made me into the person I am now was thanks to following her role model, trying different things, training, being fit, well educated and knowing that nobody else will do these things for me, it's only me who holds my faith in my hands.

Well I judge the entire industry, not only gaming wise. Movies and games used to be an escape from reality, especially when it comes to playing the characters in a game. Now ppl all over the world rise with and without reasons to say for example that the 'barbie dolls' have to be 'fat', because the barbie dolls are too thin to reflect reality. Excuse me but this is a toy and as much as media as gaming is supposed to be the way an artist visualizes a character - doesn't mean everyone should become spoiled, because you don't like your own mirror reflection (my point is that Lara Croft could have always stayed the way she was, maybe in the future she will turn into the 'coldhearted person', and I hope I'll live to see it) Lara Croft was created under that stigma, being everything one person cannot achieve without trying hard enough, but it is not impossible to become such a person in reality. Being inspired by such characters to try harder was important. Now we chew everything for the lazy ones, so they feel comfortable with that they are lazy. There are always exceptions of course, those who cannot achieve it no matter what they try, but ppl will always find a way to abuse one stigma.

I disagree. I actually would love to see the new Lara in this kind of animated series. Rise hit pretty close to Legend's version of Lara, and it seems like she's slowly transitioning into her sassy old version after finally dealing with all the family drama. With that being said, the new TR games still feel very TR-ish to me.

I used to watch them as they were coming out, I remember being so excited for each new episode, even if they didn't always live up to my expectations. Still, a TR cartoon was such a cool and unexpected thing, I enjoyed it for what it was - just a silly bit of fun. :)
