This is the exact problem with Leafs' fans. They act all high and mighty during the regular season because their team is number one in that period. They didn't take into account that during the regular season, the Habs were missing half of their roster, with SEVERAL of their best players being injured, as well as having the most ridiculous schedule of the North division. Playing 25 games in 40 days is torture, but they still managed to sneak into the playoffs despite all of that handicap. The Leafs dominate in the regular season, no doubt, but they aren't made for the playoffs. Les Canadiens de Montréal went through way too much during the regular season that they know what it's like to play with all of their heart even when missing their key players. That's why their playoff performance came through and they're heading to the finals.

On the bright side though at least our curse isn't like the Chicago Cubs was, 108 years without a championship, I hope that won't happen for the Leafs but it's starting to feel like it will take 50 years to get out of the 1st round let alone win the cup. As a Habs fan it literally doesn’t matter what happens the rest of the playoffs, beating the Leafs in the playoffs being down 3 games to 1 was epically glorious.

Get used to it leafs fans, its been over half a century since leafs have won the cup. Blackhawks, Kings, Bruins, Capitals, Blues, have won the cup after long droughts. Expansion Teams Hurricanes, Ligntning, Ducks have won the cup. Most recently, the Knights made it to the finals. When was the last time the leafs made it past the second round, let alone make the playoffs.

Man... I cannot give you enough credit for doing this. I hope you do this again for when my Blues get swept again next year so I can suffer with a fellow hockey addict.

As a Pens fan, I completely understand how you've been so calm during this game. At some point, the disappointment becomes less disappointing. You become numb to the inevitable... and then they lose and you can't scream because.... of course they did.

As an Oilers fan, I don't know whats more heartbreaking, losing in a sweep, or losing in a game 7 comeback when your team is up 3-1.
@edwardmain14213 жыл бұрын
As a Oiler fan i feel the same. I mean its a similar feeling but the Leafs lost to a rival and a team that should of just delt with. Although both Jets and Habs have great goalies but i rather lose they way we did than game 7 after a 3-1 lead. Rips the band aid off sooner

@@rickmartin4886 Only the Florida Panthers have a longer playoff series win drought than the Leafs, but since they actually have a good team now that pushed Tampa to 6 games, I'd bet that they end their drought (and I hope the Leafs lose again next year). Imagine if that happens. I'm rooting for the Panthers second after the Habs this season XD
