The video with Emilia is not possession. Her mind broke from isolation and repeated viewing of the trials she rejected as truth. Thus she became a doll and latched onto Subaru's support. Just some knowledge for the future. Both possession and the broken mind are theories, but this one holds more support, as we have never seen the witch of Envy possess someone. Edit: The Greed timeline also supports this, as this is exactly what happened to Emilia.

no it is not a theory it is a fact that we just didn't see it on the anime, she infact got possessed emilia, if you do research you can see it by your self, or just read the ligt novel

The first one is correct. That is indeed Emilia. She got her mind broken because when Subaru left her that time, she thought that he had left her because she couldn't accomplish anything. She always failed the trial. Because of that, she decided to take the trial overnight (she took repeated trials), but since Subaru or Puck isn't there to comfort her, she lost her mind. The attachment on Subaru happened because the mind-broken Emilia thinks that everything works best whenever Subaru is around. That's why she became completely attached/reliant on him. As we can see in the ending of the "Taste of Death" episode, she is still holding/hugging his jacket when subaru returned to the graveyard after he got attacked by the great rabbit. The possession on Emilia by Satella happened after Subaru told Echidna about return by death. When the witch of envy attacked the Sanctuary in episode 7 or 8 of season 2.
