Also been quite some time since I read it but heres what I remember: Rem, Subaru and satiation girl gets teleported to some random place, leaving the rest of the party at the tower. Rem wakes up with no memories and sees Subaru mistreating the satiation girl. Does not trust Subaru becuz of it and his miasma from all his deaths. Rem then ends up killing him and running away. in the next loop Rem still does not trust him but ends up travelling together. Its also stated at lye batenkaitos' death that eaten names and memories cant be restored

She was just like sakura from Naruto. How many similar girls in anime exist like rem just loving mc? She is way better without memories at least she is her own person now instead of just unhealthy obsessions I always hated that about this character it's a generic personality trait not best girl.

@trapking2009 Just Loving the MC? You're too focused on the MC you forgot to look at the story as a whole, the main selling point of Rem and Ram is that they are twin maid sisters. But since her existence is erased not even her twin remembers her. I didn't even mention Subaru in my comment LoL. Just because I mentioned "best girl" doesn't mean the best fit for the MC.

@markandrewmarquez2579 well she isn't tho. She barely got any development at all you know. She never changed except the fact she placed one extra person on her pedestal list. And the first 13 episodes emilia was better and Beatrice and even ram so how exactly does everyone think she is best? More screentime maybe that's all there was too it. After season 2 and now season 3 every other girl is so amazing. Rem is good too but she is overrated

The anime is actually ahead of the manga as of now, if you wanna read the source material you should check out the light novel/web novel, the web novel as of now is up to arc 8 (season 2 covered arc 4, season 3 will cover arc 5 and arc 6, and season 4 will cover arc 7, so it's pretty far ahead as of now)
