This ED is surprisingly powerful, considering how simple it is. With just a few still images of Subaru's first meeting with Emilia, his expression change, and then the Appa Salesman indicating a restart, we can tell that losing the experiences and relationships he has with others pains him a lot. The scene of Subaru weakly reaching for the seemingly dead Emilia's hand, only for her to clutch back, gets me every time. Hell, there's even a bit of foreshadowing in the positioning of the characters.

Man, re:zero for me is one of the best animes that have ever existed (counting everything, LN, Manga, webnovel) This work certainly left an impression on me in a way that I never imagined it would.
