Thank you for posting this! I’ve beaten the OG RE4 and beaten the remake on Normal mode, but I’ve been stuck on this section on my Hardcore playthrough and didn’t realize what I was doing wrong (namely, that I was pushing furniture over the windows too soon, going upstairs, and also that I didn’t realize that there were 3 sets of planks available, one for each window). Thank you so much for this!! I’m excited to give it another shot.

This fights been holding me back from playing the game for about a week and a half. I love the game but damn is this part annoying. As someone who hasnt played the original RE4 before i had no clue i needed to prepare for this fight so i literally have no shotgun shells and like 2 herbs to heal XD.

This is the hardest part of the game I think, and a huge loss on resources which on professional you barely have to begin with.

@@im-playing-it I thought I’d ask you a question. I’m playing RE4R and have just reached chapter 4, I think. I’ve blasted through my ammunition and think I may have problems later on, would you recommend starting again and using the parry kick combo to save ammo? I’m playing on the normal difficulty. definitely mate, melee attacks and strong knife is the way to go, try shooting in the leg then run up for quick melee

not possible for me i dont even have single shotgun shoot or a rifle this is soo freaking annoying and i quitted the game

try to reload some of your previous saves and go from there

Try buying a submachine gun or a higher power pistol from the shop. If you don't have money, sell some of your unwanted weapons of gems. The shop and save point is located just right before the start of the bridge
