Please consider becoming a member to support the channel: kzbin.info/door/8-A8VA8xh6ttgmpHTg0jeAjoin Some notes: ● It's not possible to kill all enemies with just magnum weapons, so I decided to add No Knife and No Infinite Ammo to the rules to make it more interesting ● No infinite ammo essentially means I cannot use the Handcannon's exclusive upgrade. The reality is, though, you cannot do so even if you want to since you will never have enough money (unless you use bonus DLC treasure map or DLC ticket). Every time you sell/rebuy a Handcannon for ammo, you waste 25000 pesetas... ● No knife and No Infinite Ammo ended up making 100% Accuracy a requirement instead of a rule, since if you miss even one shot, you probably won't have enough ammo to get through a particular area ● Boss fights in this run pretty much don't exist, except for Saddler (only because of the Novistadors...) ● You cannot help the dog in this run. Him healing up the El Gigante may actually ruin the fight. You will not enough ammo in that case ● I did it in the past, but this is the run where I particularly showcase how to manipulate ammo drop to 100%. Here's how to do so for those interested: • Stock your inventory full of stuff that's not what you want to get drop, including: _ Resources (S): at least 4 (before chapter 7) or 1 (starting from chapter 7) _ Resources (L): at least 2 (without Black case) or 6 (with Black case) _ Hand grenades: at least 6 (before chapter 7) or at least 4 (starting from chapter 7) _ Heavy grenades: at least 4 _ Red herbs: at least 2 (either as a sole item or mixed with some other herbs) _ Green herbs: at least 2 (either as a sole item or mixed with some other herbs) _ Kitchen/Boot knife: at least 2 • Use the Black case Explanation: you should only use either the Black case or the Leather case. You don't want to use any other cases since their respectable drops (pesetas, handgun ammo, gunpowder) have no limit • Open a loot that does NOT drop pesetas Explanation: This should be obvious, but if you stock your ammo full of stuff you don't want to get dropped, then the only thing a loot can drop is either pesetas or the thing you want to get dropped. With a loot that doesn't drop pesetas, my chance of getting a magnum ammo drop in this run, for example, becomes 100%

I fully watched 9 of your runs (5 main game, 4 sw) and this is my favourite one no knife brings so much pace into the game and ammo deficit brings even more management as a perfectionist, it warms my heart to see how calculated your runs are, really satisfying and calming. Always glad to hear when someone recognized the effort behind the scenes I understand that without commentary, most people won't pay attention to those details. But then with commentary, I just can't play this well, and tbh I really wish people stop asking why I sell/rebuy guns lol

​@@MasterKD (it's still me on another account) you don't have to do the commentary live. if you want to make the runs more suited for the mass viewer you can make something like the guy named ZERO does: write a script and cover the most interesting aspects of your run and tell about them in voiceover while showing the gameplay. don't have to make a hundred jokes along the way like ZERO does and cut it as harshly as he does, people will be more interested in something they could understand even without playing the game by themselves I'm a competitive Gran Turismo 7 driver and streamer, and if I would just record the pure gameplay I'd have like a hundred times less viewers than I do I really appreciate your content mainly because I understand how hard it is to make and I played the game myself, but I'm in the minority. most viewers need a polished story that was written for them to be interested in it and if you were ever interested in writing and editing one then you definitely should try, because you have outstanding gaming skill and it's a big advantage in creating content. it's just a whole another skill to make a story out of a run sorry for my poor English waiting for the crossbow run ✊🏻

Unfortunately that type of video didn't suit me lol. I tried doing it once. Writing scripts, recording voice, editing multiple cuts... all of that took me like a month for a 30 mins video, and I honestly didn't enjoy the process. Frankly I don't think I have the skills or motivation for it. When I watched that video myself I don't feel like I did a good work either, cuz I didn't like that video myself

Thanks. I tried to make it more challenging with them rules. But even then, if the viewers don't pay attention to the money/ammo management and such, this would look not that different to those cat ears/NG+ runs either, which is undoubtedly not interesting at all

@@MasterKD i get it, BUT, i believe the point of the game is to finish as quickly as possible.. cat ears, infinite launcher, sweeper, handcannon were all placed in the game to assist players in finishing quickly on higher difficulty levels... i've seen a guy take 5+ hours to go from the Cabin (end of Chapter5) to the start of Chapter 7, on HELL Difficulty... he started streaming his Hell Difficulty run 2 weeks ago, 5-6 hours a day, 3-4 streams a week.. and right now he's at the Wrecking Ball section on the Island.. he refuses to use infinite ammo, BUT, he was okay with using the infinite Primal knife.. it made no sense... to me, that is NOT interesting or fun to watch... what makes your run stand out and interesting is the fact that you use a very powerful magnum only when you have to... the rest of the time you cleverly run away from enemies... on HELL Difficulty, this kind of run you do here would be literally impossible to do because enemies are far more abundant and much much faster.... ohh, in case you're wondering: HELL Difficulty mod (not available on Nexus) is an alteration of Nightmare/INFERNO v1.6.1 difficulty mod which is available on Nexus

Finally finished watching! What a God run. I'm shocked that this is S+ cause you run back to the Merchant to sell and rebuy guns too often lol. I will share Village section of this run next time to convince people why I think Handcannon is a better bonus weapon to use for S+ attempt. Its only downside compared to Sweeper is its crosshair is bad for aiming but as you've shown in Village section of this run, not an issue if you make some adjustments on how to aim. Sweeper take way too much space and take too long to kill something. And SMG can easily hit Ashley unless she wears armor.

I actually wasn't concerned about the time at all even with all this running around, since the magnum guns are just so time efficient against any enemy including bosses. It's the ammo that was a headache. I had a much better time once I reached castle thanks to additional gun (plus some areas where you can manipulate ammo drop), but I had to reset during village a lot, since you can't progress if the game refuses to drop some ammo in some sections...

When you climbed that ladder into the 2nd floor house with the shotgun, that hatchet accuracy is EXACTLY why a lot of RE veterans and speedrunners hate this game's balancing issues. Way too many RNG and broken AI BS = no fun when compared to the OG RE4 Pro difficulty. The sheer level of accuracy you have to successfully throw that in a very narrow angled gap is just insanity. Other than that, god-tier run as usual. Keep it up!

I never played res4 2005 on professional but currently playing the remake on prof - the villagers just seem a little more unpredictable which is fun IMO because otherwise it can be a cakewalk

You can save the dog. El gigante goes down with 5 magnum's before the dog can interact. I tried it out today and I'm an average player. When the fight is over the dog has all his health. If he bites gigante he is almost dead at the end. (Played with health bars)

I think you're talking about the handgun ammo At some point I still used the handgun ammo attache case, which can force the game to keep dropping handgun ammo to me even though I don't have any handgun in my inventory. I kept some handgun ammo in order to lower that chance (which makes it more likely for the game to drop something else instead) Basically it's the same idea of keeping things like grenades in my inventory. I don't want them to be dropped to me

Those are the ones that you unlock by completing the game's achievements. There are 3 of them: Chicago Sweeper, Handcannon and Primal Knife The sentinel nine and skull shaker are DLC weapons, not bonus

RE4 Original was better than Remake to me because Remake was the hardest game because the villagers with weapons were totally annoying, so there's no way that RE5 Remake went next, and I can't stand of mercenaries mode and professional difficulty ruined my life anyway. It's better to spend money early on. Crafting magnum ammo is just too expensive on the gunpowder. You want to save them for later chapter where you have bad loots. In particular, chapter 15
