Very helpful video! I'd love to have something like this on my Meteor, even if it isn't absolutely necessary. Good to know the rpms at a couple of different speeds, I think. Many thanks!

That was a nice simple little install. I’m sure you’ll come up with a plan to make it look nicer too. I think you need an old knackered round instrument case that it will fit in.
@iRidetas5 жыл бұрын
Yeah install is temporary so I can learn the characteristics of the bike, well aware it doesn't look great but it does work well for sure! 😀

Sorry, I'm confused, which is easy. Is the setting for the RE Classic 02 or 03 ? First part of your video you say 02 is the setting, then before you ride away, you then set it to 03 ? Thanks

No idea what you mean by easy sorry! The default is 02 and the classic requires 03! Cheers

Oh sorry it was my turn to get confused, I get it now I read it wrong!! Sorry! Good luck with your bike mate, royal.enfields are great! Stealth is very cool looking, enjoy it Cheers

The price is right, but the tacho itself is a glaring abortion on that bike. Short term it would be handy no doubt. Is there a smaller round style version that would at least have a contemporary feel? Have you come with a folding footpegs solution yet? Nice bike, enjoying the series.😀
@iRidetas5 жыл бұрын
I agree but it's not for long term mate, I was curious to get a feel for knowing exactly where my power and was etc. I couldn't find a cheap round one either so it will do for the short term. The folding foot pegs I'm working on!!! Cheers

@@iRidetas Thanks for the Tiny Tach Tip! I've just installed one for exactly the same reason as you. Weather permitting (just sliding into winter here in northern England), I hope to give it a try tomorrow.

What would the correct spark setting be for a Virago 250? If I understand correctly, a two cylinder engine should fire once per revolution, which would be setting #2 on the Tiny Tach. Am I right?? Thank you.
@iRidetas4 жыл бұрын
Just read your instructions mate, that came with it. This was set up on a single so ive no idea without looking at mine, what you'd need to put it on for a twin

Nice video again iRide, in the rain too :) I did notice that the road closed for logging signs on Gog road and the track to the Gog fire tower lookout were still there on your video as you went past on Union Bridge road, any word if and when that track to the lookout will be open again ? Also do you still have the XR250 mate ? I'm slowly doing all the tracks you did videos of a year or so ago, last one was Mt Oakleigh Wolfram mine two weeks ago on my CRF230F. That was a challenge :) . thanks again mate.
@iRidetas5 жыл бұрын
Nah sold the xr250 I'm more a road rider! My guess is that th ed track to the fire tower has been ruined by the logging, hopefully not! The Wolfgang mine track was very challenging but awesome!

@@iRidetas thanks for that, I've been road and off road for 55 years now, love em both, you'll go back to dirt again one day mate, its in your blood :)

Not sure about that!! The bikes are tall and I'm not so found it hard and not particularly relaxing. So think I'm a roadie now! IF I got another it would prob be an xt250 so I could touch the ground better!

@@iRidetas No worries, just like to say thanks for doing those old xr250 videos anyway as it now gives me some interesting places to ride to that I had not been before so thanks for posting those mate. @roycspary89235 жыл бұрын
well done, it would be even better without the music, which is too individual for most to like, keep up the narration, your views and opinions/experience of the bike are what I want to know can you please demonstrate 4,00 rpm the torque peak, where the engine is most efficient and the 5300 horsepower peak, also what speed do the vibrations start becoming intrusive some lovely roads ride safe mate all the best
@iRidetas5 жыл бұрын
I'm not really worried if you like the intro music or not to be honest mate, but as for your question I'll have a look at making a video around that for you shortly. Keep an eye out for it! I don't really find the vibes intrusive but I can certainly see if it's worth making a video on! Thanks and take care!

I'm doing the gear swap on my son's xv250, I'm curious on what the RPMs are stock gearing, and what they will be after gear ratio change So question is, will this work on the xv250? What sitting do I need to put it on? Does it make a difference front or rear plug?
@iRidetas4 жыл бұрын
Just to state the obvious this is an enfield single! It will work on a twin, has a setting for twins and wouldnt make much difference front or rear

@iRidetas5 жыл бұрын
Very good question, remember it's cheap but it's surprisingly accurate. I have the powertronic so I can plug that into rtune to tune etc. It gives a rpm and it is comparable to the tiny tach but the tiny tach has a slower refresh rate. Fine for the Enfield but you prob wouldn't have it on a race bike. Cheers
