The THR-10K “Mountainbreaker” is a large quadrupedal mech, like its predecessor the THR-1000 “Earthmover”. They are similar in design philosophy, though they differ in some aspects, most notably the Mountainbreaker does not has the long body of the Earthmover and is somewhat shorter than its predecessor, another notable thing is that it has thicker legs than the Earthmover to compensate for its heavier body. The Mountainbreaker uses a nuclear fusion reactor as a secondary source of energy rather than solar, which was a big issue for its predecessor as clouded skies could cause it to run out of energy, and the last notable thing is that the Mountainbreaker uses a large cannon instead of the long spike its predecessor uses. The Mountainbreaker’s blood storage is below its main hull, protected by a thick layer of amour, and above that, is a living quarters that could support a maximum of 30 people, to ensure that the large mech could run smoothly and that any damage done could be repaired. It also has a shield generator like its predecessor to make it hard to down the mech, its self defence systems have also been heavily upgraded to prevent further V type robots from destroying the mechs easily. The cannon it bear is said to have at least three times the strength of its predecessor, though such claims are hard to be verified as there was never an opportunity to properly test the capability of the cannon.

I feel like if the earthmovers were meant to destroy cities, then this thing was meant to be the counter to the earthmovers by quite literally becoming a walking city, so massive that not even multiple earthmovers could take it down, mirroring the gutterman vs the guttertank situation, also bringing in a sorta symbolic representation to it’s design, appearing similar to a sort of world turtle carrying the world (the last of humanity) on it’s back.

The *10000-THR "EARTHSHATTER"* is a massive quadrupedal mech, much like the 1000-THR "EARTHMOVER". They are simmilar in basic design with the quadrupedal design and large flat hull, although its legs are much thicker and have actual paw-like feet that allow it to move faster than the earthmover. Although, the main hull is armored much more largely and the legs are armored by about the same ammount, to prevent being taken down via destroying the legs and making it topple over. The long neck in the earthmover is also replaced with a shorter but 360° rotatable head, with multiple huge cannons at different spots on the mech to make it better to aim at multiple targets, which are said to be able to level mountains. Although, unlike its predecessor, it is built lighter to be able to move with higher agility than its predecessor and also be harder to hit. The main hull and legs also have a holographic shield that protects the whole body but misses a few spots for entrance and exit of any machines to be placed on it. Its secondary source of power is a nuclear reactor placed within the main hull to provide it with more energy in case the blood runs out.

The size of this mega machine makes you truly insignificant. Like this Earthmover already sounds and looks imposing. I have an interesting idea. You know how it is said that the earthmovers polluted the skies of Earth in The Long Night. Perhaps it was a gradual process. Since the war was probably set on Europe first, only the northern hemisphere of Earth would be covered in clouds of smoke. Unable to generate electricity, the earthmovers "migrated" south in search of sunlight. I like to think that maybe an earthmover of Britain would migrate to India, earning the colloquial name of "Rakshasa" by the local Indians, much like how the earthmover we see was named "Benjamin". Idk it's been living on my mind rent-free for DAYS & I just had to write it down.
