During Leo heat hurst like @19:10 I throw in his unblockable from time to time. Opponent tends to play defense after heat because they are in neg frames. I usually do it once a match. Catches opponent off guard lol. Unless you have a masher. Doesn’t work against them 😊

just a question for the wall moves at 1:02. sometimes i see before people go for bok 12 + stomp, they jab their opponent before bok 12 + stomp but sometimes they just go straight for the bok stomp without the jab. Is there a situation I should be jabbing before or is it just extra damage or is there a reason for it?

It depends on the height the opponent is at when they are wallsplat after the tornado. Combos with a lot of hits decrease the height that they are at after the tornado, so bok 1+2 won’t connect after the jab in a long combo. Timing the bok 1+2 by itself is a high consistent damage ender

The only times you get a 2 jab before is when the first move you do gives you a wallsplat immediately. thats why you get it after getting a wallsplat from f2,4,3.

I have been having trouble doing Leo, sidestep 1+2 that knocks down on counter hit. Any suggestions?

theres no real tip for that. i can only say dont press 1+2 too early and wait a little bit for the sidestep to come out. otherwhise you will get standing 1+2 which is leo's powercrush.

Leo is awesome. I really wish i could pilot better. Stylistically so fun though. I feel like i could climb to a higher rank with another character. But i just cant give up on Leo. Ill get there. Not GoD. But if i can even hold on to fujin or something with Leo id be ecstatic

Input is B2+3. Its a Mid which parries punches during its first few frames giving you a full combo!

@@Madara-en9oi thank you so much! and if i can ask.. do you use it like a "setup" after certain moves when you expect the enemy to retaliate straight away? i watched all your videos but i don't recall if you said already so i am sorry xD

@@francescogta it really depends. There are strings where i know for sure that you can get that parry inbetween certain moves and sometimes i use it after moves on Block that are safe where it works. I might do a guide on just parrys alone!

I'm not on your level obviously. But I felt like I had some of my "miss input" heavy matches with Leo and they worked out better somehow. Is that why people hate Leo? Or am I just lucky? I feel when I hit buttons I didn't intend to hit I play better 😭

@@Psa.b Dont worry you are not annoying at all. Its really hard to say how long it really takes to learn all the moves and combos since ive been playing for a long time. If you are completly new it could take up to a few months to get the first combos done and if you are learning the very optimal routes it can take a year for sure. But again it depends how fast you can learn it!
