Due to the dirty politics of just 2-3 individuals, we have lost a great leader like JTN today. These few people, whom we consider the so-called 'great leaders' of Ladakh, could not accept that someone from a common background, belonging to a normal family, could become the leader of Ladakh. We have harmed ourselves by blindly trusting these wealthy and royal individuals. We pray to the Almighty to kindly forgive us for this mistake!

What JTN said a few years back is now being accepted by the So called Leaders of Ladakh. The main problem for them was JTN as they were not able to digest a person from humble family background becoming the tallest leader. After all the veteran leaders will somehow accept what JTN used to say during his MP tenure. Be it safeguard,Domicile or Bhoti language.

@@Dolmad we are not expecting him but it is him who always pretend to be expert in everything, be it religion, politics or anything else.... I acknowledge his expertise in Solar energy and his contribution in the field of education especially in government schools. But I doubt his selected activism..... He advocated for Six Schedule for Ladakh since four years but if you look into his videos, he himself is still in doubt which is best for Ladakh...his activism started all of a sudden after the UT status was guaranteed to Ladakh....why did he remained silent when the UT demand was at peak.....he himself is politically motivated but he claimed clean and alleges others of involvement in politics if not aligned with him...... I respect his expertise in certain fields but doubt his intention.....

Moral of the story is: Blind faith on any leader or leaders no matter how honest and experienced he or she is could lead to blunders. "Chuks Na Khaspa Chuks, Khaspa Chuksna Cho Thabs Met". Great lesson for the youths of Ladakh during last 5 years. Let's wait and watch because "Truth Always Prevail"

Across India, many states, such as Maharashtra, emphasize knowledge of the state language as a criterion for public employment. If Ladakh were to formally adopt "Bhoti" as its language, it could potentially open the doors for a larger pool of individuals from outside Ladakh to claim eligibility for local jobs, thus diluting opportunities for Ladakhi residents. Recognizing "Ladakhi" as the language of the region would ensure that it remains closely tied to the identity and interests of the people of Ladakh. In conclusion, while Bhoti may serve as the script or a historical linguistic foundation, the language of Ladakh should be identified as "Ladakhi" to preserve the region’s cultural and ethnic integrity and to safeguard the interests of its residents. This approach respects both tradition and practicality, ensuring a sustainable future for Ladakh’s identity.

Sanskrit , Persian and Arabic are languages not script.. The people who are of Tibetan origin are often referred to as Bod in different ways like Bhutia, bhota, Boto , Podrigs,.. Tibet is called as Bod by Tibetan themselves..

,, as per you in the interest of whole ladakh( means by ignoring the purgis, shinas, baltis) , i think mr jtn wants to impose bhoti on all other language/ethnic groups. Mr jtn if you really think in d larger interest of ladakh you shud advice for a joint ladakhi language which include no only bhoti but shina, purgi, balti etc ,spoken in drass, nubra, kargil zanskar etc as these constitute 60℅ of ladakh population.
