I have experienced in forklift driving. And after seeing your video I really want to have also a reach stacker licence too!!!

a great video and you operate like you have lots of hours on that machine. Great view you have with no obstructions in front. I operated them for the last 10 years and then retired, it was the best job I ever had. You see in my photo here this was one of the ones that I first operated back in the 1980's

Good video, it can be seen that you have experience handling this type of machine, but the important thing is to teach how the type of operation is and how to manipulate the controls. how the expred is extended, with what command do you take the container how do you pick up the mechanical arm and if all the commands and correct ways to operate the machine
@ThomasJoostens Жыл бұрын
It,s like driving a manual car man 😁 If you pull the control backwards toen you lift the boom. If you pull the control left or right the spreader with container is coming closer or further. If you Putt the spreader correct on the container then hé locks automatic 👌👍 thanx for your comment 😉👍

Fair play my friend you know how to operate and handle that machine but you need to think about your own safety brother. A toplifter / reach stacker is really only designed to lift and stack containers not travel long distances to organise containers. Your company should give you a team of shunter driver's to carry your loads then you can meet them and put the boxes we're needed. It's cheaper and safer for a lorry to run back and forth between two lifts than you working like mad moving one at a time. I'm not disrespecting your driving skills or video I'm just pointing out that you should travel unloaded as much as possible for your own safety. I worked on the Docks for 14 years driving every bit of machinery from a forklift to the Quay Cranes but out of all the toy's I could play with the Reach Stacker was my favourite. There wasn't much I couldn't move with it. I've also unfortunately seen friends who were good drivers tip them cornering whilst loaded and Nose dive them over uneven ground. Sorry my message my be a bit critical but think of yourself mate. Keep up the good work and show us some box spinning and picking up a 40" end on. 👍👍👍👍

I operate a empty container handler as my job can somebody tell me if it is easier to operate empty handler or loaded handler?
@ThomasJoostens5 жыл бұрын
Yow, It’s easier to operate a Heavy machine because they are More stability by the weight and less Aggressive in their moves.

Loaded is smoother as long as your mast is back and your attachment is pulled in; personal opinion 🤙🏻

If your a good operator you shouldn't be bouncing in your seat. His first mistake was when he hit the other container. Cockiness comes to mine. No need to speed. That's how accidents happen. Lifting while driving forward. Big mistake. I wouldn't want him as a teacher. ..wow.
