about the reason why maestro doesn't kill lord regent. if you talk to him after unbounding your weapon but before unlocking the fight he states that he will help you take down the lord regent when etrea is strong enough to stand on its own and that if he'd do it now the authority will simply take over etrea and deny the vigils' way of living

still kinda stupid of maestro tbh, the lord regent sends like 100 people to kill duke repeatedly every day (or at the very least he had sent YOU the player who is talking to him after the duel (requires the duke of sin qest to be done) due to needing the forge to drown etria, whats worse, mass drowning or to have to use the Royal guards to do something other than agroing on freshies during the raid event.

@@cheese_walker the forge of sin isn't confirmed to be required to drown large areas, the drowning of celtor happened without it (most likely but then again the ministry did summon the celtorian horror). the forge of sin is only used to amplify someone's power by sacrificing souls, duke erisia used it to sacrofice people to enhance his resonance so he could summon more golems

the answer to why maestro doesn't just go kill lord regen is that if he did kill lord regent authority would most likely invade etrea and no matter how strong he is he can't just stop an entire invasion by himself, that's why he gives you a weapon if you beat him so that he can make more powerful allies so if authority does invade he isn't the only person that can actually stop them

My god how outdated is this guide? Kaido is the best boss by far for bell prog (4 kills gives bell) u didn’t say how to cheese him. U have outdated footage of primadons loot pools and chasers attack pattern completely wrong. Plus the guides suck. You talk about like 2 moves for each boss and ur tips for them is either “it’s cue based” watch out for this, or “this one’s easy.” U also didn’t even talk about what the bosses drop. You have like 2 and a half minutes for each boss bro did u do this script less on the first attempt?

They changed every NPC that uses Gale Kata to use WoN M1s. The M1s still have the same damage as Gale Kata. Its just for show. This change was added silently due to the lag Gale Kata causes, it has much more frames than any other weapon, so the smooth animations mess everything up.

I really liked the maestro boss fight but it really sucks while trying to learn the fight. Since its just a repeat off dying twice, going to the depths, escaping and trying again until you beat him. I get that that’s the games gimmick but it just doesn’t make sense for the maestro to actually kill the player unlike bosses such as primadon or the duke. It’d be allot more fun to learn the fight if the maestro could only stain your hp bar as getting a whole flaw from him already seems enough of a punishment.

You can actually cheese maestro with flame ballista, and cycle it out with mantras that delay him. Flame ballista sort of bugs their ai (when he is far away enough, bc he will just m1 u if you use flame ballista right in front of him) where the ai spams the parry animation, and it just turns into a normal block after a few seconds. He will just stand there and block while u charge up flame ballista, and usually it will hit him, dealing free dmg + burn. Repeat this 5-6 times with lvl 5 flame ballista with bless gem, and you should be able to kill him. I usually cycle strong left and rapid punches in there too, I start off the fight with strong left to push him back, and then use flame ballista for the free dmg. Apparently flame ballista will stun the maestro long enough to where you can do rapid punches right after hitting him, and that should do a good chunk of his hp. Repeat that combo 3-4 times and you should beat the maestro. (You do have to stay alive and parry in between the cooldowns though, but otherwise its good)

A tip for ferryman if you have the talent grand feast (from carnivore) if you kill the lightning clones they actually give you health which makes phase 1 super easy keeping you at basically full hp throughout it all
