I'm really pleased to see someone considering the interactions between these two techs. I agree that throwing out web components as the "wrong paradigm" is heavy handed. HTML isn't going away, and making it more expressive and encapsulated is beneficial. Excellent presentation!

Fantastic video. Something I was struggling with when adopting react for our front end stack. I believe web components are the future but felt it was either react *or* web components hadn't considered the possibility of using both technologies together. Great ideas in this talk and stuff to think about.
