This was Madhuri's first big block buster in 1988 after doing few not so popular movies. Her first movie came in 1984. This song had a shoot continuously for almost 30 hours and she had rehearsed this song for approx a month before shooting.

Fun Fact: Madhuri admit that She dislike/hate this song the first time she heard it. Basically, the whole song is her counting the day while she waits for her lover to come back to her. What kind of choreograph, she will be given. But Saroj Khan told her to trust her, and she did. Also, Madhuri was twenty years old when she did this song.
