Sailor Moon is still happening. It’s still as popular as it was back then. The show is truly a treasure. The anime and manga were ahead of their time talking about issues that are now easier to talk about today. This anime has persevered and now that currently the reboot is showing us the true story about it and giving us more insight on characters that they didn’t go over in the 90s anime. I mean there is no mistaking why people are still in love with it

@beanik835 Not as much as the 90s did. To me the Animation is not that bad. Some actual prefer the New look. However it looks like there bring back the 90s look for the Reboot. Which is because it tells fans Naoko the Creator is listening to them. I think this Reboot goes a little darker then the Original. Even though it does have dark moments. The fact that the fillers took up more of the Original then it’s actually story where the Reboot is focus on more Story and the Main characters. Which are Usagi, Mamoru, and Chibiusa. While also introducing New Characters the didn’t get introduce in the Original. Or characters that didn’t have much spotlight or were cast aside and forgotten about. The Original is an awesome introduction to Sailor Moon. But, Story wise I prefer the Reboot cause technically it is the Original without the fillers. An more Character depth. And I’m talking about Mamoru, the Amazon Quartet, the Shadow Galatica Senshi, and Pharaoh 90 So I’ve learn more from the Reboot then I ever heard the the Original 90s. I still love it but I’ve grown to love the New Sailor Moon a bit better

@beanik835 Maybe to you it didn’t leave an impression. But, to me it’s the opposite. I feel it did what the Original couldn’t. One was Mamoru I love that he is more involved. They didn’t just throw him in back. He has his Powers, his Crystal, his Age. Season 2 we get to know more about Death Phantom and Planet Nemesis. We got to know more about Ami a bit more. Mako actually has a love interest and she gave up her identity to him. The Outer Senshi don’t go missing in Season 4. Pluto is brought back Sooner. Saturn gets her transformation. I mean most of this didn’t even make it into the 90s. So tell me which one is lost in its direction. The Reboot was made to help tell it’s true story. Not go off on a character that benefits nothing. If you want fillers go watch the 90s. But, for fans like me were leaving the fillers in the past. They don’t need to be repeated

But it doesn’t really quite deliver the memorable moments that stick with you like the original did. The fillers are used to set character development and their relationships. Like, we got to know Ami a lot more in the 90s with episodes that are devoted to her and her interactions with other characters. When did Makoto have a love interest? Was it that Asanuma guy who she gave a forehead kiss? I’d believe she thinks of him as just a brother from that.
