I loved my original furby (I had an all white one), until the incident. Furbies were supposed to stay off in the dark, and many of us kids knew that one of the darkest places was under the bed. Unfortunately, the tech wasn’t up to snuff and many of us had them loudly wake up in the middle of the night and it was impossible to turn them off easily as there was no on/off switch.

My problem with a lot of these "magic reveal" toys is the fun part is gone in 5 min. Yeah you have a toy, but then it's a toy. The whole thing you paid for is the magic part & you're left with a hunk of plastic that takes up space. I'd wanna give my kids something with more playability than that.

I was born in the late 80's and grew as a 90's kid my go to toys back then where the OG littlest pet shop, my little pony, kitty and puppy in my pocket, puppy and kitty surprise, Furby and furby baby and kitty kitty kittens it was a stuff kitten with a big head and it would purr I got one as a b day gift one year from my parents and I named it after my actual cat that I had back then so we had a real buttercup and a stuffed toy buttercup
