they didn't have to undo a lottery d-mail because the only goal to undo everything is just to retrieve the ibm 5100, even though this d-mail made some changes, it wasn't significant because they still have that computer after it also there's a second season to this anime, steins gate 0, so i'll be glad if you watch it

It's been a long time since I played the Visual novel but if I remember correctly they did undo the lottery D-mail along with some other insignificant ones but it is not shown to the viewer just mentioned that they did it.. I think they skipped all that in the anime just like many other unimportant things so don't stress about it much.

I love the reactions guys but u keep misunderstanding a basic principle the show clearly establishes. The idea of fate. They can’t just try to change things in little ways and hope it’ll change cause it won’t. They have to undo things entirely or nothing will change. They establish this with mayuri. Mayuri dies multiple times and okabe tries to change the setting, the information he tells them and various other variables but it doesn’t work cause it’s destined to happen. Mayuri being destined to die is the same as cern being destined to rule the world. I’m honestly really surprised that u guys give Subaru so much slack whose undoubtedly way dumber (I love Subaru and re:zero btw) and far more prone to making dumb decisions than okabe. I’m pretty sure Subaru is older than okabe by arc 5 too

we ended up reading this for the final episode , thanks for clearing that stuff up. we try to keep track of things but sometimes we forget what was our own theories and what was stated as fact lol
