There's nothing quite like watching a person who enjoys these games as much as oneself. It's like reliving it all again

This is basically what a fallingstar beast grows into, given enough time. You know: those buffalo-like beings with pincers you find in meteorite crash sites? You fight at least 2 of them during the course of the game: a youngling and an Adult one. You can actually see the eye that Astel has slowly emerging on the head of the Adult Fallingstar beast you fight on top of Mt. Gelmir.
@hoang2312 Жыл бұрын
but there was a "full grown" one on top of the mountain, which means it could not grow more, right?
@Pingoo6802 Жыл бұрын
@@hoang2312 Its like when you can have a full grown caterpillar and then it cocoons into a butterfly, the same thing also happens with astels because you can also see some coccooning ones around.

In the lore astel is called a malformed star so maybe the fallingstar beasts can somehow become malformed but doing so gives them tremendous power

@@user-op2bh7rc9z The full grown beast evolves into the Astel one. Same can be said for insects like Caterpillars. It can be called full grown before it becomes a butterfly. He actually is right about everything he said.

The wings of Atel remind me the "wings" of Kos in the second phase, so good detail.

The best quote I've heard about fromsoft games and an indication of quality of their games is paraphrased something like: A developer that puts extra effort into their games, but doesn't lose sleep if that effort is seen by only a few players is an indication of quality and confidence.

I love your reading of the lore of Astel. It is different from the popular idea but I think your idea of how Eternal City caught Astel to use it as their "STAR" is an good point.

I just discovered your channel yesterday while looking for Elden Beast reactions. You have my favorite reactions by far. I love how much you delve into the lore. I am playing through Elden Ring again now but I really wish I could just wipe my memory and experience it all for the first time again. Astel was one of my favorite moments.....I also said, "what in the elder gods is going on here"

I read somewhere that radahn used gravity magic to stop the stars in the sky, maybe it has something to do with that?
@goliath26252 жыл бұрын
I mean yeah, Radahn was stopping stars from falling, though Astel was around even while this was happening. He's in Nokron before the meteor falls to let you into it
@88heisenberg88 Жыл бұрын
There's a cut animation during Radahn's fight. Originally when Radahn reaches phase 2 and flys up, Astel would come crashing down instead. I think it implies that Radahn was holding it back.

Astel's origin dips into Sellen's questline and her explanation of the origin of magic. Glintstone sorcery is an evoltion of magic, but items, especially Lustat's and Azur's, you come across while doing Sellen's questline gives you lore on the origin of this magic. And that lore ties back to Astel.

Aren't these the "Aliens" of Elden Ring? (Falling Star Beasts, and Astel), they could be the creatures that Radahn was trying to stop? (he's called "Starscourge" too)
