I’ve witnessed ONE maximum carnage in 4 gilded dredgens with my clan, from our reckoner no less. With thunder Lord and multi shot tether no less. My fucking jaw hit the floor because that same match we got a from the jaws of defeat: after a rough early invasion. He saved it for us with that, and It was beautiful. I have to harass him for the clip.

Funny thing about that last clip something similar happened back last season when Sunspots weren't nerfed. An invader came over with their super and killed three of us at the bank. And then our blueberry just... walts over and started to revive us over the fire. And so began in endless death. Spawning over a sunspot dying, making another sunspot, revived only to be spawned in the sunspot again. This gave the invader two Army of One medals in one invasion and all me my teammates could do was scream at our screens for the blue berry to stop reviving us.

Boots Army of One You and what army: while running arc souls, an arc soul will spawn at the location of your rift(sort of acting like a turret)and when you or your allies die while arc soul is active(the duration of the “corpse arc soul” is half of the duration of the arc soul when you died). Arc soul kills recharge rift. (60% in pvp, 20% in pve)

I have had one time where I wish I had a clipping tool, I got a five kill invade using a combination of xeno and a Shepard's watch, but right as I extracted I popped my super (hunter stasis) and got another three kills giving me an 8 kill invade, I believe I ended that game with 19 guardian kills

I’ve gotten 2 maximum carnage medals: One from deathbringer. Killed 3, then luckily timed a shot toward spawn right before teleporting back. One from silence and squall on the mars map before returning (they were in spawn again). I also had a buddy do it once with colony with a similar story and another when a boss finished a team off after he had peppered them They aren’t impossible, they just require particular situations, loadouts, and timing

It is so incredibly hard to get a maximum carnage medel now, since the spawn changes. I got mine back in S11, and I haven't seen one since.

Source: secret mission involving you racing with the vex to get to the axe in a castle like area. (Timer included) Edit if needed

That maximum carnage probably came from the sunspot when they went to res. I've never been happier to see a throwing hammer clip🤣

honestly I was almost entirely convinced maximum carnage was impossible to obtain anymore, now that you're brought back immediately upon getting 4 kills, but I guess you've just gotta leave something behind like a squall, or sunspot or someting. wow that was so fkn great

The maximum carnage medal used to be as common as army of one bc you would only get teleported out if you killed all four players not getting four kills so you could kill 3 players twice and then leave the fourth for last.

As a proud owner of a maximum carnage medal. I can honestly say this is the rarest medal in the game. I am a gambit sweat and reckoner holder, have guided the seal 5 times, and have over 10,000 guardian kills in gambit I only have 1 maximum carnage medal. These things are extremely rare

I've been using Khepri's Horn for months, and it can be so punishing if you mess up, but damn, is that second clip satisfying

I’ve got it. Solar titan. Classy restoration, icefall mantle. That way you get one stack of restoration and an over shield for turning on icefall and then you get another stack of restoration for turning it off. Pair it with telesto to capitalize on the slow movement speed max out resilience profit.

I have one maximum carnage from around season 13 or 14. I was using frozen orbit and black talon with sentinel shield. Nailed all 3 shots out of my mag then launched black talon at the last alive, popped my super to chuck shields into spawn and grabbed the medal with about 3 secons to spare

I’ve gotten one, I used EoT and got a triple kill while the 4th person was invading. I got extremely lucky that when they all respawned the invader was brought back so all 4 of them were in their spawn & I chucked a nova killing all 4 giving me the medal lol

I’m still so mad I didn’t save the clip of me hiding behind a Titan’s own shield and shooting them from behind it

My friend got the maximum carnage medal BUT he did it unintentionally through a glitch. He invade got 4 kills and for some reason the game didn't pull him so he stayed over on the enemy's side got the maximum carnage plus 4 MORE KILLS before they finally killed him. He got 11 kills in 1 invade.

I did a little digging and found three rarer medals, at least by Voluspa stats: Fire in the Hole! has a 0.30% commonality rating, Seven Deadly has 0.28%, and Fifth Horseman has 0.25%

I wish i clipped this during the stasis meta. One time I spawned in the same stasis tornado, 3 lives in a row.

I got a Maximum Carnage once when my game bugged and I wasn't sent back to my area after getting the 4th kill. I believe I got 10+ kills in that one invasion before getting eventually killed

Fun fact: I didn't clip it because I was to psyched when it happened, but I have one maximum carnage medal thanks to a gambit prime match, it started with me killing 3 people with 1k on the EDZ map, the last guy ran into spawn, and I ended up throwing a slowva into spawn, and it killed all 4

It's a pain to get when you get a squad wipe. You have to rush all the way over to their spawn, not to mention the timer...I was so close to getting it when I was farming the exotic quest for that damn handcannon.

Witherhoard with glaive and blink in the right hands is hands down the best loadout for rift change my mind

When the Eriana’s vow damage was bugged in gambit, i got 45 army in one, so I thought I could get maximum carnage. But no. It just ridiculous.

Fun part is maximum carnage is much harder to get now bc you get auto pulled back at 4 kills

Made this for you is the rarest medal in the game, actually the Iron Banner equivalent Fifth Horseman is even rarer, they're both 50 kill streaks in pvp medals. But as far as Maximum Carnage it's not as rare as you would think. Almost everybody I know has gotten at least one with 3 kills then a lucky super towards spawn. Overkillmonger is also another medal rarer than Maximum Carnage, it's also a Gambit medal and requires 80 kills without dying, which is EXTREMLY hard to do unless your teammates are letting you kill everything by yourself or they're just bad lol.

Exotic idea for light fall: Eclipse High impact scout Text, “when light is gone, only darkness remains.” Intrinsic: Abyssal Stare When getting a precision kill, nearby enemies (3 max) will get the debuff “In the abyss”, darkening the screen of player in pvp (or blinding them in pve) and marking them Exotic: total eclipse When killing enemies affected by abyssal stare, Eclipse will become pitch black, allowing the user to see enemies affected by abyssal stare for up to 10 second after it wears off depending on how many affected enemies are killed beforehand Catalyst: You can’t escape the abyss. Once the user has triggered total eclipse, bullets will track marked targets and killing said target will increase the time for total eclipse. Catalyst perk 2: Into the dark. When total eclipse is active, holding x(or whatever button it is on other platforms) will allow the user to consume half of the magazine and the remaining timer on total eclipse to shoot a teammate and give the a weakened version of total eclipse called partial eclipse.(Won’t have tracking shot on affected enemies but will still mark them.)

I'd say the medal "fifth horseman" is more rare than maximum carnage. Still neat.

I had a weird bug once in gambit, must've been like a year ago, maybe a year and a half. My invasion timer went to 0 the moment I got my 4th kill, so I got TP'd back, but on the same time I didnt, so I was still invading, but with unlimited time, I managed to get 13 kills before I died, got all them medals and triumphs to get more than 4 kills during an invade! Was funny as hell, and I got accussed of cheating afterwards from enemy team, all wrote on my profile that I cheated lmao

The best way I was able to get maximum carnage was when I used stasis hunter a scout rifle a tracking rocket and malfeasance and this was on emerald coast. I killed all 4 enemies and popped a silence and squal on the enemy spawn point and it killed all 4 again

I got one maximum on that map, got 3 kills and last guy hid in a spawn point and revived but before I got sent back launched a slowvabomb in that dirrection and wiped them all when they walked out.

one of my old clanmates got a maximum carnage when Gambit was more prone to bugs than it is now (hard to believe i know). After his invader timer ran out with 3 kills it just.... didn't pull him back.

As a gambit player. I see the maximum carnage medal as the holy grail.

Damn I should send in my maximum carnage medal from years ago. It's definitely one of those never happen again moments but it was a little more intentional than that one.

I have the reckoner title and was once top 500 in gambit. Ive never seen someone pull that medal. Its 7 kills in a single invade. And remember once you kill all 4 you get army of one and sent back immediately. So you have to kill 3, kill 3 again then get that last player. Or get lucky enough for them to stand in damage after you leave i guess

Glitched once playing gambit. I didn’t get sent back after the time expired and got a maximum carnage medal. Wasted all of my heavy and special and was down to my primary autorifle before I was dropped.

I thought that Inverted Spire clip was one of mine that somebody stole from my server and submitted. But mine wasn't on solo GM.

The Cabal Wavedash was 10/10. It should've died. As for the Maximum Carnage, he picked his hammer back up so I'd guess someone was still wounded and burning, then died to a NPC, and ignited for the extras. At first I thought the hammer stayed and exploded but nah. Witherhoard, silence & squall, well placed lasting impression rocket, Colony, Deathbringer, will all net a MC medal easily. I think with fragments you could also launch Dawnblades projectiles with the enhanced tracking as you port back for a good chance at it. Other wise I can guarantee you this: Emerald coast, get the 4 piece team wipe at once, sprint to their spawn asap and launch a nova bomb in the corridor as you portal out, and your gold, slowvabomb could be better but cam also be shot. If have done this a handful of times using Leviathans Breath and the void Bomb for Max Carn post teleport, or you can just focus on the kills, which I find Chaos Reach to be very effective.
