Just so you know by the way, that's been an exploit that's been discovered last episode where your Eager Edge perk can be used on your melees, which works on all classes with a melee that covers distance, like warlock's arc slide melee aspect, which is what he uses in that clip. And yes, this bug/exploit has been in the game since they tried to fix another exploit regarding Eager Edge and have yet to fix it in the new episode's release. It's why he gains so much speed during that clip, because it wouldn't be possible to be that quick without the Eager Edge exploit.

Yeah, I just tried for a few minutes to replicate it, I cannot see blink actually affecting anything, and it's much less movement. More similar to a normal eager edge swing or something. Definitely needs the eager edge bug to work to full effect That being said, it's still a nice movement boost you dont need any ammo to do

That IKELOS HC roll is actually insane buildcrafting. It has subsistence and focused fury, as well as the IKELOS origin perk that reloads 1/3 of the mag on shield break, so you never have to reload. That's so smart.

Reason to lean there is to as you swing in r6, it moves the camera and you can shoot and get peekers avantage. This means that you can see the person before they can see you fallout

Btw, for those wondering about the skate, the clip is from back when eager edge would apply to relics/melees as the perk would persist even after swapping off. So, unfortunately, you won't be able to replicate it as he used eager edge with the slide teleport.

For the Ikelos - the origin trait for the refreshed Ikelos weapons is to refill the mag on shield pop, and that triggers in PvP as well. So it's like Subsistence but arguably better since you don't need a kill to keep it going. That with Focused Fury isn't actually bad at all if you can keep it going - keep refilling the mag and it only needs the first five shots to trigger, and can constantly refresh.

For some reason, knights just get launched off the map pretty easily. It's especially annoying and altars of sorrow since if they go off the edge, they instantly teleport to the altar. And, yeah, stasis crystals especially launch them pretty easily.

Hey tdt, ice breaker is now in d2 and according to people (I don’t have it yet) it actually cooks, as in doing high damage per shot, and the explosions part is better in d2 than in d1 as headshots and shattering stasis crystals can ignite targets

Needle-skate??!!!?!!!?!!!?!?!!?!? After watching the full clip and not just the first few seconds of the video I realized how that guy did a needle-skate, it was a bug and i am pretty sure Bungie patched it in act 3 of echoes but if you activated eager edge with a sword then any sort of melee would have the increased distance like in the clip he used the arc slide with the increased distance and then used needle storm

Definitely close and very much NOT patched (I submitted a bug report they've yet to open) but the trick with it here is Blink is still coded in the game as a class ability :) so it qualifies for transferring the perk over similar to the bug. On a side note you can still do a skate with lightning into needle, just a bit less range, Needleskate carries all prior momentum

Heyo I've been posting this to the other comments asking, but to do a transfer of eager to a melee you have two methods of doing it. One was already known and can be done on any class 1: Pull put sword with eager, pop class ability, immediately swap to a regular weapon. Then use a corresponding melee ability before the eager edge timer runs out. Method I discovered 2: Jump, swap to sword and blink, during the blink instant handling swap to a regular weapon. Then use a corresponding melee ability before the eager edge timer runs out. (I highly recommend astrocytes for this or you will have less time than the class ability method)
