I ran the numbers while back and it's concentric circles of qualities. People over 6ft are 15% of the us population. People earning over 100,000 in the us is 9%. Assuming an even distribution of attractiveness rated from 1-10, 30% of the population are above average attractiveness based on female standards. This means that women are looking for fractions of a percent of the population to settle down with before personal qualities or demands; Specifically it's 0.405% of the population. With the US's population of 340,000,000 and a very close to 50-50 split of genders. This equates to 685,037 men. And this number is more than fair given that women have more stringent attraction standards. That the population is distributed on a bell curve, not 10% across the board for attractiveness. And whatever arbitrary standards they apply remove EVEN more men. It's absurd. Many women are ruining their own chance at happy relationships.

@@rasmachris94 A few years ago I calculated the numbers on myself. Based on height, appearance, wealth, and IQ, I determined that I'm 1 in 31,250. I then made a Venn diagram and posted it with the math on my dating profile to see what would happen. Needless to say my likes dried up. Women actually unmatched with me. Haha! I wasn't surprised, but it's very telling that women have that much aversion to a man who knows his own value. It is interesting how the statistics work. If you put me in a stadium with 30,000 random bachelors do I really think I'd be the ladies' top pick? Of course not. The math would suggest I should be top of the heap, but I can't even get a date on Bumble. In reality women are far more shallow than they admit. So, we can toss out the Venn Diagrams because we know all of the men who are a 9 or 10 in handsomeness would be chosen first. So, for example if you happen to look like Brad Pitt, then the ladies really wouldn't care if you're dumb as a rock or have no sense of humor. Or, if you live in a 8-bedroom mansion with a swimming pool, then you can be 5'5" and still get a good wife. Question: What percentage of the male population do you think is at least six feet tall, has *AVERAGE* looks, *AVERAGE* personality, *AVERAGE* wealth, and are unmarried? I had these silly ideas that there's someone out there for everyone. I had to swallow a bitter pill when all these things came to light. Love was not this thing that could happen to everyone or anywhere, rather I learned that for women it's a practical thing, something of convenience or status, sometimes it was infatuation but that was mostly short lived and never truly sincere. It took the wonder out of the concept of what I once believed was love, and I have since stopped believing in the concept.

Me the same. When I was younger, I thought I would be guaranteed to be married and have kids by the time I turned 30. I thought love and marriage was a given thing as you got older. How disillusioned I was by the fantasies of love and happiness. I'm 48 now. Single. Was married to my ex wife for 10 miserable years. I was 36 when I got married. I really struggled in meeting women and never picked up a whole lot of experience in the dating scene. I felt like I was running out of time and just decided that I was gonna settle with the next woman I get in a relationship with. Things got off hot and heavy right away and for a while, I thought I was happy and thought she was finally it. Then came the red flags after we got married. If I had picked up on the red flags on her before we got married, I would've baled out of the relationship. My fault for letting things peddle so fast instead of taking more time to know her more. Those were 10 years I learned about myself and what I really want in a woman, but I wish I could get those 10 years back. Now I'm back to square one. I'm happier now that I'm no longer married to her. We're actually much better now just as friends. But as I look myself in the mirror and realize where I stand now, I feel like my chance at happiness is fading away and it may never come my way. The harsh reality I'm facing now is that there ISN'T someone for everyone and anyone who thinks otherwise is living in their own happy dream world. And I hate it when TV shows depict the nerdy, unpopular, underdog gets the hot girl. Sorry, but in the real world, the Leonard's never get the Penny's.

I don't really know why I'm even here but take this from someone who, in his youth, did from time to time punch above his weight. Sometimes if one of those 3 things is above average, it can really make up for the other two. A guy can be very good looking but broke and not really have much status but still get women. Same if one is high in wealth or status.
@buffuniballer2 жыл бұрын
What Courtney missed is that he was talking about an article. So when women are asked the question, they give the answers on the list. What gets a woman's attention are the items on Alexander's list. Courtney nailed it before she started his video, "What we say and want we want are completely different" Now you can say she said she wanted all 18. However, the article didn't say that, so either the writer wasn't being honest or the women gave the 9 answers in the article, but failed to mention the 9 on his list. Meaning that even if everything in the article was on their list, they still did not say what they wanted because the other 9 were NOT on the list. His point was the article would have been more accurate had it included some or all from his list. My thought was an article with the top 5 on each list would be more accurate than just the 9 written up for the article.
@buffuniballer2 жыл бұрын
@@sienkiewiczmonika1161 hmm, let me look. The title of the article was "If a man has these 9 qualities, never let him go Scientists Say" So it doesn't really say if the man is in a relationship or not. It could equally apply to the men that women meet. Seems to be a stretch to say it's geared towards people already in relationships. Certainly cannot narrow it down to people in romantic relationships. But let's assume you are right, that it's geared towards those already in relationships. How does a man who cannot even get a second glance from a woman demonstrate these characteristics? Frankly, I think some from BOTH lists would be more accurate. Pick the top 5 from each list, or at least acknowledge that if he's lacking in Alexander's list, he'll never get a chance to demonstrate the qualities on her list. That was his point, a guy looking the list in the article and focusing on being that person doesn't get a chance to demonstrate those qualities. I.E. what Courtney said before starting his video, "What we say and what we want are completely different." So is he really misunderstanding, or does he understand that while one thing is said, just like Courtney admitted, at the very least, it's not ALL of what she wants. The items on his list gives the guy a chance to demonstrate the ones women are willing to say out loud. By omitting the ones on his list, they are not being fully transparent about what they want. This isn't a dig at women as men do the same sort of thing. It's like the joke, "A businessman decides that it is time to hire a new secretary and has it narrowed down to a blonde, a redhead, and a brunette. Unable to choose between the three of them, he decides to conduct an experiment. At the end of the day he places a five dollar bill on the ground in his office to see how each girl would react. The blonde sees the money, picks it up, and places on his desk and then walks out. The redhead sees the money but ignores it and walks out. The brunette sees the money, looks around, and puts it in her pocket before leaving. Which girl did the businessman hire? The one with the biggest breasts"

The very second you do that and not on your purpose, she starts to test you, then disrespect you, then start to give interest to other men... then she either cheats or leave you. She wants to be the NUMBER ONE GIRL, NOT... I repeat NOT the number one thing in your life! So of ALL YOUR OPTIONS, she should be your only or at least main choice. He’s got such good points! I’m glad he’s focusing on things beyond what we’re supposed to politely look for in men. I used to naively think attractiveness shouldn’t matter, (obviously it should) and that money shouldn’t matter- but then I learned that it really does tell you something about that person. if someone is doing well - they are good at their job, they take it seriously, they think ahead and they manage their money responsibly, that’s the person you want to be tied to long-term. Whoever you commit yourself to, you both are putting your bets on each other that you have a strong teammate and they’re going in a direction you also want to go in (Career or otherwise).
@stickybandit23462 жыл бұрын

Does that mean the girl who seeks a well-to-do man, must also be well-to-do? After all, they're a "team" right? They're both working hard to achieve the same things, RIGHT? And if they're both on the same page, and both value the same things, and are both doing it right - you know, using their time wisely and all those other good things that any respectable person would be doing, so that they can be a match - they'd both have pretty much equal success, RIGHT? So tell me again how many women seeking well-to-do men are also as well-to-do as the men they're seeking? Or even close? Oh, ok, let's put it another way then: how many women want men who make about the same as they do? I'll wait while you find out, and get back to me.

When I was in my early 20’s, at my peak time in life when beautiful women expressed open attraction to me (it was amazing!), I was constantly on the prowl for a classy, intellectual woman like Courtney, but although I could initially attract them easily they typically booked it when my personality came out. Lol. So, I think she has something great to say about women focusing on physical attraction in the beginning when that is all they know. @@bryankc9644 As someone closer to 60 than 50, I tend to agree with regard to when men peak in what is attractive to women. The falloff can be less steep for men, especially as wealth, power and prestige are increasing as the man is well into his career. In my late 50s, I can still do what I could do in my 20s. Maybe a bit slower, and recovery takes a bit longer. But I've remained in shape, have a fair bit of wisdom (enough to know I don't know it all) and can look back and say that yes, the slice between 30-45 was probably a high point. The decline is not as steep as women "hitting the wall" as some call it. Consider that in the 70% of divorces are filed by women, most of those are from early in marriages where women perceive they have an advantage. The numbers flip for empty nest marriage when men 50+ are the ones choosing the divorce in more than half of that subset. Men have advantages later in life. The kids are gone, so no custody or support issues. They are still attractive or have become more attractive because of increased power, prestige and wealth. The times men and women have the relative advantage are different. But to suggest men never have the advantage is to miss the full picture. I do admit, it's easier to see later in life than how I saw things when I was 20 something.

19:52 as a woman I have to contest this that he said though, “being a good father”. I can’t tell you how many times myself or my female friends have opened our eyes to or fallen more deeply for a man after seeing him interact well with children. This is something that’s incredibly important to myself and most women I know, even intuitively when we were younger or not as ready, but also as something taking up more and more space as we’ve grown up. Some men I haven’t been attracted to at all until I’ve seen them seem natural with kids and suddenly I can’t wait to get to know him better. If you’re part of any female group chat it’s so common with the gushing about husband material and baby fever, these two interact and can really make each other even stronger. It’s because seeing a man interact with kids shows if he inhibits qualities mentioned in this video, such as kindness and patience and maturity, emotional intelligence. Fatherhood is also often connected to independence and financial stability so really if you get that label then I think that you can consider yourself lucky. Even right now I personally am not really interested in a relationship but I have a male friend who I keep considering just because I keep seeing him interact well with kids haha. Otherwise a very good video and these two complemented one another well. I do have to say that this felt a bit weird for me to watch because I am religious and watching this as a very devout person it feels so weird that ethical compatibility was placed last in the list from the article but otherwise not mentioned at all, because for me this is the first and most important thing of all because it’s a given that we’re not going to work out long or short term if we have different value systems, no matter how attractive he is otherwise. Even the couples I know who have different religions or denominations make sure to agree on the major points before committing. Super important unless you’re both secular. Really though dating is a completely different game in religious environments so this felt like a throwback to watch but I guess I got curious and I’ve watched a couple of Courtney’s videos throughout the years so it’s kind of fun to check back every once in a while. :)

Ruth He's not saying the 9 things in the article are not attractive or unimportant to women. What he's talking about is that women should be honest and admit that the 9 things on his list is what gets them interested in a man in the first place and not necessarily the things at the other list. Courtney has actually made a very good point: The 9 things on his list are what allows you to get the girl - the 9 things on the article's list are what lets you keep the girl. Therefore a combination of both lists is what women are really looking for, with the "get her" list being more important to meet a girl because 99% of girls will never give you a chance if you're not hot in their opinion. That's the same for guys - if a guy doesn't find you attractive he'll not be interested in you. The difference is that most men are honest enough to admit that it is the physical attractiveness that is the cause for his lack of interest while most women do not admit that fact if they're not interested in a guy. We're talking about meeting new people here - the importances of individual points can obviously shift if you get to know people better. However - even in that case chances that a guy who is ugly in your eyes but makes you laugh all the time will end up in a relation with you are extremely low; almost all women will friendzone him. Again - it's not about neglecting importance of the things on the "keep her" list, it's about women agressively denying that the things on the "get her" list matter to them (and yes, a lot of women deny extremely agressively that they're into hot guys that are wealthy - even though that is of course a lie).
@Eric-dd8bk2 жыл бұрын
Well, hence the 9 things that wmn want in guys, but don't admit. And you too could be saying something completely different from your own gutt reactions to certain guys but you don't even realize. The thing is, for many women and men equally, people say what they want and what they're going to do, and how much they care about something, largely for the optics, their image, and how they want you and the world to view them, but it's rarely honest. Also, you cannot call out those people for it, because A) they either don't know they're being dishonest, or B) they identify so much with the need for their image that they will never admit it. Men love to say this is a trait specific for women, but it's not, it's ego. Men who think it's just women are men who have been burt, and haven't healed yet.

The "status" perk was an interesting take because I feel as though it's broader than the first initial thought that enters the mind. This also encompasses how a man interacts with his surroundings, how he speaks to people, how he talks to his family, how he treats animals, sometimes despite perhaps not having a title or social media following that demands respect or admiration can also be redeemed through his charisma and his certainty in how he flows through life and I think that women still intuitively pick up these vibes and find them attractive.

Women say they want a nice, sweet man who loves his mom and who has a great sense of humor and will dote on them and has great integrity and gives to charity. What they really want is a rich, tall and gorgeous man with abs and muscles who is dominant and assertive and will put them in their place and not tolerate any shit from them.

"I've never met a guy shorter than me" [sic!] Yes, most men are invisible to women....point proven, even if we are 6 feet tall....! Thanks for your honesty Courtney, interesting to hear your comments, but I would still not recommend men to take dating advice from women and instead go to Alexander Grace and other Red Pills channels

She said that you need the 9 qualities scientists listed to keep a relationship but it's hard to keep one when you can't even start one because you may not have the qualities listed by Alex. Thankfully, a lot of women will stick with you long enough to see who you are. Still, I feel bad for the great guys who can't find a woman.

If they don't have many of Alex's 9, they aren't great

@@davidhunt9143 If his words are vapid, it's because men have heard worse and/or that it's gotten old, and men stopped caring. And let's be real, he's not the only one that at least thinks that. The only thing is that women won't admit they think the same or worse, to save face.

As a low value man I have to agree totally with everything mentioned by Courtney & Alex. I was an attractive athlete and well know in high school; a champion high school wrestler. I was extremely physically fit though an emotional wreck. Yet I never dated any women during my high school years and since then I've been dumped by every woman I ever dated, so I just gave up knowing I was a BAD person. However, the real problem was with me, I was mentally ill suffering from toxic shame. It took going to a therapist late in life to understand my problem; so guys if things aren't good inside and you know how that feels; get theraputic and or medical help if you can. Being lonely and forever suffering with no self confidence or very little self esteem affects your entire life in almost all aspects - Suck it up and get help.

I second that declaration. I consider you a high value man, if only because you obtained the perspective/maturity to recognize and do something about your deficits.

A woman where I work has been DROPPING HINTS for me to ask her out, but for five weeks now all I've been doing is showing courtesy. Finally she cornered and asked me why I HAVEN'T made a move. So I asked her, " I HEAR what you say and I SEE what you do. Those two are NOT congruent. So which one of YOU should I ask out?" She simply stood there, mouth agape, with a dumbfounded look in her eye.
