I know it was part of the writers' plan to give her that to set up the potential flash forward. I even read a Facebook post from one of the showrunners that season that had they known ahead, they would not have included that and allow her to have her miracle baby, et al. Then again, I remember many have been nagging the 9-Oh writers on Twitter to make the season finale close ended because the writing was on the wall based on those really anemic ratings they had that year plus the fact that the CW was not giving the show 30-second promos anymore as they slowly turn to fantasy/sci-fi shows the following season.

Knowing there was supposed to be a 6th season makes part of the finale make so much more sense now. I never i stood about the Liam leaving his bag and it being kind of discovered. That some was something that didn’t really fit in. Now i get it was most likely setting up for season 6. So would have loved to have seen the show go on, but love those you can do these videos. @@maiaaa6474 the bag was Liam’s luggage and it was in the series finale. He was leaving with his then girlfriend Sydney before the bombing happened and before he read Annie’s book. He had brought it with him to the concert and then ended up leaving it back stage. (In a deleted scene there was a firefighter then ended up finding the bag and i believe Dixon realizing it was Liam’s.)

Honestly the ending shouldn't have been rushed but I'm glad annie and Liam were endgame but Max and Naomi should have ended up together Navid and Silver should have been together Adrianna should have either ended up with no one or dixon They should have had Ivy there for the end I feel like a lot was left open ended which is upsetting but still a great show. Have been binging it again and will most likely finish it tomorrow xD

Always thought CW did 90210 so dirty how they just canceled it out of nowhere. They could've gave them one last final 6th season or at least gave them a couple more episodes for season 5 to let them finish the season out correctly. Also I miss this CW era so much such a better variety of shows!! everything now on CW is just the same ol' crap either super-hero or just a really depressing dark show and even though some of the the shows from back in the day didn't make it past season one they was still better than half the shows CW put out today.
