The stones or gems, for which you asked, that you can see that Airi cares and guards with so much affection, are the stones or gems, of her dead companions, in the first Star Guardian group that she led, which would be Xayah, Rakan and Neeko, completing the group with Miss Fortune and Airi, in the story, it happens and that Zoey, sets a trap or something like that, I am not so aware of rakan, xayah and neeko, where Xayah ends up dying and Rakan also decides to die full of pain. While Neeko escapes from what killed them but everyone believes that she also died, this is more or less the general fact, at that time I don't know where Airi was, but Miss Fortune was at a pajama party, which becomes one of their skins along with other Star Guardians, after xayah and rakan die, Zoey revives them with her powers of Chaos, and that is why they chase Neeko, at least Xayah, because he holds a grudge, while rakan knows that they are corrupt and he is forming a plan so that Xayah does not suffer and eventually free her from Zoey's control.

Yes I believe you are correct about the store I just know the xayah and rakan both perished because of Zoey and neeko left because she saw them perished and she went into hiding but for xayah wants revenge because she thinks they betrayed her and rakan is fully aware of everything he just waiting until he sacrifice himself to save xayah from the darkness

Zoe killed Xayah and Rakan, Neeko escaped and went into hiding, Miss Fortune and Ahri escaped believing all three were dead. Zoe resurrected Xayah and Rakan, they found Neeko. MF goes to the pyjama party but Ahri doesn't attend saying she has something personal to do - Which ends up being saving her old team. Current lore: Xayah is uncorrupted thanks to Lulu, but Rakan took so much corruption from her previously that he's kinda evil now, but Lulu and Syndra(?) I think have gone looking for him in hopes of saving him too.

The gems represent the star guardians proof to be chosen by the First Star, is the cotainer for their powers and the marks of their destiny: To protect the universe until all its light is gone, only then a star guardian dissapears. Zoe, wanted to fulfill hers but her chaotic spirit led her to the dark matter energy. The combination of her wild and chaotic spirit alongside the obsucre and misterious energy of dark matter created what Lulu called "The twilight star". NOw she just wonder the univers taking away the light of the star guardiands looking to fill the universe whit dark matter. On a side note, Jinx hated that destiny. Feeling like being drafted more than choosen to fight whitout a saying in the matter. Thats why she reveled on the first video. Still, her care for her friends was bigger than the hate of her destiny and thats why she came back. For now, she keeps looking for a way to protect the universe whitout falling victim to the "whims" of the First Star. And lastly, a bit of fun details. Aside for their gemstones, each guardian pocess a companion. And animal or spirit that follows the guardian and helps them channel the power of the first star in battle. For lux, its her staff, so to cast her spell she focus her power from her gemstone to her staff to produce her magical powers. For other, the companion takes the form of an animal, like Shisa, the upstand leon that acompanies Soraka. Some guardian´s companios takes both forms: Ahri´s companion "Kiko" has an animal form of a small fox, but then he transform in to Ahri´s power sphere to cast her abilities. The other example are "Kuro and Shiro", Jinx white and black spirits. They usually keep their spirit forms (of a white angel and a black devil) but in combat they take teh form of Jinxs weapons. Thats just something from the lore and stories around about Star Guardians, if you ave any other questions i may be able to help a bit.

A small detail. After Rakan gets hit with Neeko's ult and passes out Xayah acts like she's gonna chase after Neeko - but then she notices that Rakan is down. And she immidiately turns to rescue him! She may be a Dark Star now but she still loves Rakan.

As a fun fact star guardian Universe was the first one that reshaped the lore about universe where ina beggining most of this stories where noncanon, after the release of star guardian all this stories became canonical on their respective universes, making all skins that Riot created very special due the lore behind them :3

Ahri was holding Neeko’s, Xayah’s, and Rakan’s crystals. Zoe is like a dark star guardian who corrupts others so she corrupted Xayah and partially corrupted Rakan who is trying to heal Xayah. They were hunting Neeko

What Ahri holds in her hand are the star guardian stones of the fallen members of her original group. In the middle of the video "light and shadow" u can see the stary skies where the silhouette of Ahri appears, if u look at it closely u will recognize Miss Fortune and Neekoo too the misterious missing parts are actually Xayah and Rakan. From Ahri's star guardian story u can actually find out that Sarah aka Mf is the only original member in her group, Soraka and Ez are kinda younglings and Syndra is also a veteran from another squad.

Burning Bright is my favorite as a song and the most anime opening. I love New Horizon since it created the main music theme and the gamemode Invasion was just so much fun (you can find some videos on it, if you wanted to see what it was like. There's probably something on Skin Spotlights or other channels with longer league content). I think Light and Shadow is a wonderful song and video. I'm just bittersweet about it because the 2019 skins were a mixed bag, and there's a lot of design decisions that were more 'inconsistencies' with what was previously established. And as it was my favorite skinline I'm a little salty. Not as widely known, but the Japanese got bonus Star Guardian songs. The Burning Bright video was used with the song Endless Starlight (kind of like an anime ending compared to Burning Bright being more like an opening). The LoL channel has the full version Endless Starlight ~ Kirameki of Life ~. And New Horizon year gave us Fates Fall -Shadow of Hope- as kind of the Season 2 opening while the normal song kind of acts as the battle song. Have you watched the K/DA stuff? Their first 2018 hit POP/STARS with the ALL OUT album featuring the Baddest, MORE, VILLAIN, I'll Show You, and Drum Go Dum. Also, the Battle Queen skins have a theme that's really good, even though the video is just the splash arts.
