You're right that the Gundam Build Fighters series usually don't have that much stakes except for the finale and Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise. But if you get into it, you will be surprised how enjoyable Build Fighters can become. Despite the series is actually just a marketing for the gunpla as a whole, it does have an amazing plot especially the first installment, Gundam Build Fighters. So enjoy the ride whichever series you want to get into.

In tbe 90s there were 2 main franchises for Sunrise. The Eldran series (Raijin-Oh, Go-Saurer, Dai-Teu-Oh) and the Brave Robots (Ezkaiser-GaoGaiGar)

In case no one brought it up yet, the reason the Brave series may seem Familiar is because the same company that did Transformers, Takara, had a falling out with Toei after Transformers’ popularity took a dip in Japan, so while they waited for the beast era, Takara worked with Sunrise to make the Brave series

It is part of the same metaverse as GaoGaiGar with the voice actor of the main character of GaoGaiGar being the voice actor of the main character of Brave Express Might Gaine. The voice actor is known as "The King of Braves" due to this.

@WeAINTseenITREACTIONS to put it in perspective, when GaoGaiGar came out, Evangelion was all the rage. Sunrise/Studio 7 deliberately made GaoGaiGar to be the anti-EVA. Is it a giant toy commercial? Yes, but it is so over the top and awesome that end up not caring!

Especially GaoGaiGar Final. You could probably watch it without any context from the OG show, and it was beautifully remastered. Also sidenote, don't underestimate Xenoglossia, Umber holds the title of "manliest" robot thanks to that ending (not the ending credits).

funfact Voltes V got a live action adaptation in the phillipines due to how popular it is back here however. despite the good cgi effects the live action adaptation feels a bit rushed and a lot of unnecessary soap opera romance/drama was added which didn't add anything to the show. which kinda threw some off the old fans including myself.

This reaction features everything the requester had on their playlist. They made a few errors which I was confused on. But mistakes happen. I looked up Sacred Seven and it doesn't seem to be a Mecha anime which this video is supposed to be all about. So if there are a good chunk of Sunrise produced OPs missing they probably weren't in the Mecha genre. I know a large quantity of those OPs are Gundam related which as I explain in the video I chose to leave out. Because I already have a dedicated reaction to Gundam OPs. The requester just featured some they thought I didn't see in my Gundam reaction. I hope this clears up things.

Code Geass is a series you really should watch. Cross Ange is a good series but early in the anime there's a very 😣😨 scene. You'll know if you see it. Mobile Suit Gundam The Witch From Mercury is the newest entry in the franchise and definitely worth it. It has its controversies, but overall it's worth it. I never really liked the 'Build' series of Gundam shows.

After 20th Sunrise stuck on Code Geass Series and can't create a new mecha show to hits at the moment. So sad a Mecha anime not a mainstream after all😢 When I'm a kid sunrise launch a new show every years including gundam series too. How long to be next after The witch from Mercury TV show? 5 years or 10 years? Maybe we gonna stuck with them by oldest series like Gundam Seed freedom. I hope they'll made a new Mecha anime for a kids in this generation not for an old man like me who can paid for your product its not fair for them to be stuck with us. Now we see what happens on this day. We got a remake anime stuff announcement not for kids but for us. JoJo, Dragon Quest Dai, The first Slamdunk etc. and next is YAIBA. When they grow up someone question about "what's great anime on your day" and they're said Code Geass and nothing I'm eating same as my grandfather ate.

The most important person in L-Gaim, even more so than Tomino, is Mamoru Nagano. He was in charge of setting up everything from the mechanics to the characters and worldview. In particular, his robot designs influenced all robot anime after this one, including Z Gundam.

I mean, the Original GGG had a different opening. The FINAL is from the OVA and the Grand Glorious Gathering Version is from the final EP of said OVA. Even though it had no anime, they could've included the Juvenile Version from GaoGaiGar vs. Betterman, think about that. THEN it would've been bias. But every series with multiple openings had them shown, so is it really?

@@rovvy221 well to be fair this is a 100% blind reaction. I downloaded and edited these openings into 1 compilation myself without looking too much into them. That way I could keep it as authentic as possible. But I made it a point to go back and look them up after I watched them.
